Anonymous Coward User ID: 26143620 United States 11/11/2012 04:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't need this to be anything but a real accident, it's tragic enough for those that lost lives and homes. However, there is no conclusive evidence except that there is no crater. I don't know much about these things, but the idea of a small meteor or an EMP is something to look at. I'm really sick about people spending so much time trying to decide if the houses that exploded had gas connections. Even if they did, it doesn't automatically mean a gas explosion. DHS doesn't arrive for a home that explodes from gas. People aren't called back in from the forces for debriefings for a fire call, even when there are deaths. Why were the 200 or so people who were relocated to the school moved in the wee hours of the morning? Read the thread because you are all missing so much information. |

Just had this thought to have a discussion on the interesting coincidence of CIA Chief "Betray-us" (Petraeus?) resigning under a cloud of a sex scandal....just like in "Deep Impact" the movie. Then someone posted about the Indianapolis explosion and it just sort of hit a nerve. Could this have been a small meteor (maybe the size of a basketball after burning thru the atmosphere?) They had bad weather, so there wouldn't have been alot of folks being able to see an approaching fireball. Anyways, It was kindof a synchronous event and thought I'd post our GLP link here! Thread: UHOH..."Big-Wig" Resignations....a 12-3-12 "CODE" in Deep Impact & CALIF Quake? Enjoy! SK P.S. Why is Homeland Security involved in a local "gas leak" explosion? Never heard of Homeland Security rushing to a gas leak before...SOMETHING IS VERY ODD ABOUT THIS! We'll see.... I just posted on your other thread - interesting correlation. Indeed, HS would NOT be on the scene for a gas leak explosion. |

People were pretty scared last night I'm sure. Also there was another call or so about smelling gas, which could easily have been hysteria. There were times in the end, you could hear the strain in the voices over the radio. There was even one instance where the officers would not speak their location on the radio. Referring to, "the place you told me to go to", things like, "Ok well, just keep going down that street/road and look for the flashing lights. You'll know where they are." There is also information that two people were detained at the school when all the other people were transferred somewhere else by bus. It sounded like these two people had just arrived home from a trip and one of the leveled houses was theirs. There were deaths in that house and supposedly, they didn't think anyone was home. Mentions of a daughter that was not there while they were away. No one wanted to tell these peolple who the dead were for some reason. It was a comedy act trying to get a clergy to them to break this news. It took well over an hour or more for this to happen....I went to bed and don't know what transpired. They also switched to another radio frequency around 5:30 - 6:00 AM, but the ambulance calls continued on the channel we were using, I believe. |

Normally, residents smell the gas way before it becomes explosive and they get out leaving windows and doors open. Even then I have seen houses and larger buildings completely flattened by natural gas explosions. If a house in unoccupied a gas leak could have continued to increase the concentration for some time. Plus a modern house, being well insulated, all windows closed etc .... |

I don't really have any updates, but I did just get a text from Fox59 saying 80 homes were damaged and 3.6 million estimated damage. I'll catch up and then poke around and see if I can find anything new! Thanks to everyone for keeping this active and updated. I will do my best to stay on it and keep my eyes and ears open for any information. Oh and as for the other "south side" house that blew up a couple of weeks ago - I do recall seeing that when it happened, but it didn't make much of an impact at the time as it seemed to be downtown (on the south side of downtown) and in an old, decrepit, vacant home. It really was just a few small lines and no big deal, or so it seemed. Certainly didn't feel it and it wasn't reported from miles and miles around, etc. My biggest concern, honestly, is that this is/was/could be somehow related to BP/Sinkhole/Methane/New Madrid. Especially with the KY quake yesterday... big coincidence? I sure hope so! Ok, off to catch up, I'll be back! |
