I live on homemade egg drop soup and ginger tea in the winter. I hope you're able to find something that helps. Spicy foods might help you clear stuff out.

I use alot of herbs in mine and egg noodles.

It is said that raisins eases coughs.

Caffine is bad for brochitis.

A friend of mine said that raisin soaked in whiskey/moonshine and then eaten helps...it does! I actually tried it a few years ago when I had it an it does help!

Try a half fluid ounce of colloidal silver (10-20 ppm) in a nebulizer a couple of times a day (morning/early evening).

I've used this for symptoms of winter colds/'flu - ie. bronchial irritation/inflammation with good results.

ive been drinking ginger tea and taking hot showers also drinking warm water when i get tired of the tea. it seems the more i stay warm and keep my chest/throat warm helps me breathe easier but the cold makes it worse. also taking nasal spray for the nose to keep it clear of mucus. drinking lots of water to keep the mucus down and keep my airways clear.

Bronchitis feels like Im gasping for air cant breathe etc. drinking lots of water and eating chicken noodle soup. also hot showers seem to help. any other ideas? Doc says its viral and can only be cured with time.

Vitamin D3, at least 1000IU a day. If you had been taking it all along, you wouldn't be sick right now. But it should speed up your recovery too.
