I learned trying to earn respect of those in power is an exercise in futility. (Many view you as a pawn. Nothing more. Nothing less.)

I learned that people should be allowed their Free Will choices.

I learned that trusting yourself is very important as others will try to take you off your track and put you on theirs.

I learned that the only person I need to save is myself. (i.e. The Messiah Complex must go.)

I learned that family is important. The ones who raised me.

I learned that not everyone on GLP is 100% Truthful. Some are on here to test you.

I learned to not believe the beautiful lies on TV.

I learned that love and compassion is the key to a fulfilling life.

However, it must be a natural process.

It must grow is the correct way for it to be effective.

However, I need to learn not to need to help people.

there is no better way to help people
than self sacrifice

Am I being a dumb blonde and misunderstanding, I don't understand what you mean by learning not to need to help others/you mean you don't want to have to depend on having that feeling, or what do you mean?

The last three years has taught me the value patience.

There is time for things to naturally happen.

When something is a NEED it can be used against you.

i.e. I NEEDED to help others to feel like I was valuable to the human race.

And that NEED can lead to poor choices.
