I say this sarcastically, but there are some here who seriously believe that. What does your utopia look like? Does it look like a place like India where you have an obscenely rich minority while the regular folk bath and urinate in the same water they drink? That's what I get from what you wrote. You sound like you don't think there should be a middle class or healthy small businesses, just billionaires and their servants. |

What did he think was going to happen when they lost control of the helicopter? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21211135 He probably thought he would land in a big fat pile of his cash and walk away laughing all the way to the bank. Probably. They tend to underestimate the power of things outside their control. |

"It was ‘highly likely’ that the child suddenly pushed down with her foot on the chopper’s 's controls, according to the November 7 report. Either Stewart or his pilot then quickly pulled up on the controls, causing the helicopter's main blades to bend and strike the aircraft's tail, the report said." "The report's conclusion was immediately challenged by the lawyer for the pilot's family, who has blamed a faulty rotor blade for the crash, and by Stewart's company." "The NTSB laid some blame on the pilot for not controlling his cockpit. For example, it found that Stewart liked to fly the craft even though he wasn't licensed for helicopters. The report faulted Morton for allowing such a violation." A summary: Corporate pilot hands the controls over to his unlicensed and unrated billionaire boss, who lets his 5 year old sit on his lap. The aircraft then mysteriously performs a dangerous manouever resulting in the main rotor blades flexing and impacting the tail boom or tail rotor. Corporate pilot, billionaire, trophy wife and a small child all burn. The corporate lawyers decide that the blame lies with the manufacturer of the helicopter who they then sue. The finding of the government NTSB investigation is challenged because there is no money to be made from a freak accident resulting from neglect on the part of the pilot and his insistent passenger. It's tragic that these people died, and if the pilot and his boss WERE in the wrong, surely they've paid their dues. It's sad that the corporate types who are left are more interested in money than the truth. But I guess we couldn't really expect much more. |

It might be an old post but my thoughts on this is why would you let your daughter who is 5 years old control a heli-pooper? I don't see this as an accident in anyway at all Quoting: Divinityz [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] more money than sense i say. |
