2 staged, combustibles dont sound like that.. sounds like impact, then explosion.

Usually they have a cause by now but nothing if it was gas or something they would know so its obviously explosives.

I noticed the 2-part quality of the sound, but I did not know what it meant.

Meteor impact? Any news on the ground about what may have happened?

I've been keeping up with this since the news broke. I want fucking answers.

Gas explosion doesn't cover it.

You won't hear it on laptop speakers, you need good low range to hear it.

It is definitely a two stage explosion. First is hard and quick, the second rolls in like a real fireball burst would.

There was a meteor witnessed last night. Many will fall this month. The Taurid meteor shower is going on.

Okay, this will take some work but I hope someone can pull it off.

The foot print of the explosion should aim towards a place in the sky. If it points towards the meteor shower point of origin, that would be a huge clue. More like proof.

i'm not sure how far away the person who recorded that were from the explosion, but i live approx 5 miles away, and it was unreal....

Can you tell us what your experience was? Long running thread, many of us were posting on since it happened last night. Several in the area posted. Can you share what your take on this might be?

not to sound redundant or anything, but this is what i just posted on the other long running thread,

"live approx 5 miles away from the explosion and can say the sound i heard felt like a sonic boom....it rattled my windows and shook the house...incidentally, about 12 hours earlier around noon my dog tito was acting really peculiar, shaking and hiding in the bathroom.....he had his tail tucked between his legs and was being really dramatic. i had to leave for work so i didn't have time to dwell on it, it could just be coincidence, but i thought i'd throw that out there..."

basically, i was just sitting at home, derping around on the computer when all of a sudden i heard this catastrophic BOMB, i know this might sound weird, but...it felt as if the sound waves had rippled through the house and pass thru my body...it was a loud, and heavy feeling sound and it jolted the house...it all happened so quickly. i thought at first a plane had crashed, it felt like something that violent had occurred. i immediately ran outside and all my neighbors were spilling out into the street, we met at the end of the cul-de-sak and were just trying to make sense of it all while scanning the horizon trying to see if we could pin point what happened...then my other neighbor said it was announced over the police scanner that it was a gas explosion. an hour an a half later the mayor of indianapolis was on live TV given an interview...homelance security was there, ATF, and people were being evacuated. they right away dismissed it on TV as being a natural gas explosion, but i don't know....it felt much powerful than that...

I live on the southside of Indianapolis, about 3 1/2 miles away from Stop 11 and Sherman where this happened. I was watching TV at the time it occured, and i heard an extremely loud explosion that shook my house and pushed opened up my unlocked back door about two inches then slammed it shut again. all the dogs in the neighborhood went nuts. My initial thought was that a bomb or meth lab had exploded or a plane had crashed. People I know around town immediately started asking eachother on facebook if anyone knew what hap happened. people up to 4 or 5 miles away either heard the blast or experienced the shaking... although people in Shelbyville (a 20 min drive) and downtown (a 20 min drive) who claim to have heard it also. a friend that lives about a mile away had her house windows blown out at the same time as the explosion happened. Incidents of windows in homes and cars blowing out were reported up to two miles away. (What kind of gas leak explosion causes a ripple effect like that?) Another friend could actually see the fires from her back yard, she lives at Stop 11 and Bluff Road. Immediately after the explosion her facebook status was - "Plane crash right by my neighbor hood. Can see the flames from here!!! :(. My heart goes out to the many families that are affected by this!" She doesnt report seeing a plane but that was the conclusion the neighborhood speculators came to, and one neighbor reported hearing a high velocity sound "like at the racetrack" a split second before the explosion. They also reported blue flame throughout the fire, could a gas leak cause that?


I tried to drive by the crash site today, and you can't even get near it. cops everywhere in every direction keeping people away from the whole neighborhood.

My personal feeling is that something is really, really messed up about this whole thing.

There seems to be no evidence of a meteor impact. Normally you'd expect a round crater. Judging by all the bits and pieces lying around there is no crater.
Whatever exploded was not close to the ground.
This can only mean an explosive device placed above the ground, maybe on the first floor level.
Im thinking a big quantity of RDX explosive.

Maybe this was an assassination, and whoever did it, really didnt care how big a mess it would make.
