MORMONS (and others): What 2-Year Food Supply Company Do You Use and Recommend?
Mormons (and anyone else, too), what 2-year food (and other supplies) supply company do you use and recommend? I don't feel imminent doom coming on or anything. I've been interested in doing this for a few years now, and this is as good a time as any. Any recommendations? Thanks.

One other thing.... Is there a company (or companies) that have more healthful storable foods than others, even if it translates into higher cost (as I'm sure it does)?

Excellent! I can't wait for my block of government cheese. I hope it's Pepper Jack this time, and not that moldy Cheddar again.

I have ordered from these people with good results:

[link to beprepared.com]

They are having a BIG SALE on Mountain House until November 30, up to 30% off:

[link to beprepared.com]

For bulk organic grains and beans, GOOD prices at:

[link to www.yahwehsaliveandwell.com]

Also the local LDS canning facilities will sell you bulk food, they will even help you package it properly, just call and ask their local procedure. It's usually two days each week, prices are awesome, basically at cost.

Most Mormons don't use any supply company, they do it themselves.
In most regions the LDS church has a canning facility where members go and can their own food. The church facility has all the food and supplies needed, the members just buy what they want from the church and can it right there on the property.

Costco has everything you need for cheap. Every type of meal in every quantity and you can shop online with cheap shipping. Powdered eggs. Breakfast entrees, meat, veggies, Mac and cheese, all by magic chef or whatever.

I used to buy mountain house but they are expensive even with discounts. I'm finishing up my supplies with Costco because its convenient as hell and the stuff comes in a gamma protected/sealed bucket for durable storage.

Here's a link: [link to m.costco.com]

But do specific searches cause they have hundreds of options.

Mostly, but not entirely accurate. The LDS canneries carry about 20 different products (their hot cocoa and refried beans are great!). I would with a lot of Mormons who want to fill in areas that the cannery doesn't supply.

I've used emergency essentials. Each month they have a deal where you can get a large quantity of one item for a cheaper price, and with free shipping.

Anything else that you order at the same time will also be free shipping.

Or see if you can make any LDS friends and get them to bring you to a cannery. You won't be on any lists, won't have the mailman know what your getting, and the prices are pretty good.
