The scary thing is that this isn't including such things as property taxes from when I owned homes, sales taxes, taxes on my former small business, or charitable deductions. The total must surely be near a half a million dollars. And this country STILL is in debt?! People, I am 52 years old. I have nothing left to give to this country. But I know you're all younger than me. You must do something NOW to save yourselves. I have no idea what that might be but hopefully this thread will start a discussion. Jimminy. This truth was one tough pill to swallow. Miggy You know what Miggy, i don't like the fact that we are HEAVILY taxed BUT ALSO, you put in 35 years, unemployment for someone who has worked that many years should go alot farther than a year or two, i am trying to grasp just how much money of ours the gov. has kept, and the unemployment thing is only one example. Quoting: TAX RELIEF 27514608 My response to people who want to know the solution is (my opinion only)... When were you at your last city hall or town meeting? It really starts at the ground floor. Where I live is very small town...I hate going to these meetings...but either I am part of the problem or part of the solution. It is frustrating when leaders become large fish in small ponds. Ego gets in the way...so I stay clear...and they are left to make all the decisions and vote into law what "they " choose. There needs to be better checks and balances. There are many that suck off the system and it is NOT just the poor. Corruption runs deep and in every aspect of our community. Disclosure in every branch of government should be expected by the American people...but it is easier to walk away and toss out the old phase "Well what can you do about it?" It's starts with pointing the finger at ones self to start change. Leadership would be another great place to start....but sadly they are more interested in looking at how to stay in office than serving the people. Great thread OP...should have some interesting thoughts and remarks. . ... went to our township meeting ... . ... discovered it is run by "good ole boys (and girls)" and anyone challenging them gets CUT DOWN ... . ... and now with all the fraudulent votes BEGINNING to come to light ... . ... I finally realize it is all over ... the doomsters were right! ... . Amos 5:13 timelines - [link to home.centurytel.net] |

Looking back on it.. Romney would have only 'inherited' some sort of 'thug rich' ghetto land. All bling but nothing real.. The country has already been lost.. next few years, just draining off the last of the bone morrow.. Doubt even Romney could have stopped or turned it around at this point. REVENGE is what the current administration wants. REVENGE against the working class. He plans to take the money away from those working and give it to the democrat voting class non working welfare recipents. You have 2 options. 1. Become a leach and get on the government check. 2. Buy a big jar of vaseline so that is doesn't hurt as much. Good luck with the change that was voted in by the welfare class. That amount was the total for a period of 35 years you retard. |

They also borrow money from countries and GIVE some of that money back to the same lending countries as foreign aid. It currently takes the assholes who call themselves our government about $2.80 to distribute (SPEND) One Dollar. They take in $3 trillion and it costs them over $8 trillion to get rid of it. |

Shut the fuck up and pay your taxes and be thankful you are alive. You mean WE are charged $600,000 for each cruise missle. The cost to make and deliver it is about $40,000. The rest is profit for the military industrial espionage complex. It also costs over $12 million to deploy each missile that actually reaches a military target. Just like soldiers making $14,000 - $28,000 per year. It cost over $1 million per soldier to keep them in the field of operations. |

I would be more curious to know how much you make net per year. As someone who is a low-wage earner (At least until I finish school, I guess?), there are ways you can lessen your tax burden. If you're not, I don't see why you're complaining. |
