most wally employes are part timers kids dedicated more to school than supporting a futile min wage job.

Black Friday will be just another pathetic day of hording cheap china goods for low income people.

THey are striking cause they dont like the pay that they agreed to when they took the job. My guess is they expected to be paid like an electrician wages without any effort or schooling on their part. TYPICAL.

Thanksgiving is not really a HOLY DAY..and black Friday is far from Holy. But you certainly can find some good deals on Black Friday to give for presents. I do the black Friday shopping..and No I'm not a low income person just a person who shops for deals for christmas presents. If you dont then thats your deal, but if you want great deals that is the day to shop. I like to give my family and friends nice gifts, not cheap crap.

These Walmart workers need to learn from my 21 year old son. He was hired by Walmart this fall in his college town - asked to work up to 20 hours a week max. He is reliable, on time and a good kid. Then they started scheduling him 30 hours a week. When he went in to discuss this and ask for 20 hours a week he was told, "I used to work during college - you're just going to have to figure it out." He muttered under his breath, "I'll figure it out all right..." She wouldn't budge so my son was pro-active and looked for other jobs. Both places he applied at wanted to hire him and they paid more money. They treat their employees badly. Just look for something else. I worked retail for many years and even was a business owner for several years...get out of it. Retail is horrible now.

Wal Mart aint shutting down shit if the workers strike. I HOPE they strike. Wal Mart should treat their employees like HUMAN BEINGS.

I work for a bank. They don't want to hire any help, so we find as many ways to lie to our customers so they don't find out how short handed we are. They force us to work hours and hours of overtime. I'm working 50 hours a week at this point. It's total BS how they want to treat us because they don't want to shrink their bloated paychecks and give us a decent wage, a decent place to work, and enough employees to do the job RIGHT for the customers...who deserve the product they were SOLD.

This is being organized by unions. Walmart is not a union company. This is the same dumb thinking that has brought you obama (vile deceiver). People should not put themselves at risk for illegal union activity. The unions want the dues and power that would come from unionizing Walmart, they could care less about thanksgiving or their employees.

Walmart has already found a "workaround" to any potential striking that may take place on Black Friday. They announced a couple days ago that their "Black Friday" sales now start on Thanksgiving Day at 8 PM. So much for families spending Thanksgiving together.

Haven't been in a disgusting Wal-Mart in 10 years. Support local shops & small American businesses. I agree with the other poster who stated that black Friday shopping is a disgusting display. What is the over / under on the number of mouth breathing morons who trample or kill each other to save a dollar. MSM waits breathlessly to show brutal, violent footage of those black Friday sheep.

I kinda like Chinese junk for things I know will be outdated in a short time like electronics. But I have noticed stuff no matter what it is from China smells a bit odd. I always wonder if there is some vapor or something coming off things from China that is poisoning me.

Banks are one of the fastest unionizing groups in the country at this point for GOOD REASON. You try riding the waves of mergers and buyouts asshole. It ain't easy.
