I didn't massacre anyone, nor was I massacred. No-one who is alive today owes a apology for something that was done by others, hundreds of years ago.

Because the first Thanksgiving was to celebrate the VICTORY in dominating the local tribes. Some Americans know, most do not.

Our family has had a member of the Nez Perce tribe and one of the Blackfoot tribe to several of our Thanksgiving dinners.

Because we eat around 2 pm and by then most American Indians are to drunk to stand up.

I am part native american and part white, what should I do? Invite part of myself to thanksgiving? Have the white part cook and the native part eat?

There is no excuse for killing innocent people... but a lot of Indian tribes were far from innocent and peace loving.

That poor man was left stranded in the cold for 3 days by people of his own tribe. No honor with native American Indians any more.

I had Indians in Oklahoma invite me to thanksgiving years ago. They put out a good spread and then we went to an indian bingo hall and had a swell time. It was a very nice thanksgiving.

Legs-Like-Noodles has always been a bit of a drama queen.

No time to educate and undo their Jesuit brainwashing. The pilgrims and natives made peaceful treaty and had the first Thanksgiving. It was the Freemasons in DC after 1776 who broke the treaties.

Since Columbus, 1492.

The only break from the persecution of Rome & Spain was the Pilgrims in the British Colonies, when Thanksgiving was established.

The pueblo near here celebrates it - it is a HUGE moneymaker for them, and they are laughing all the way to the bank with it :)

The white/black/brown people in this country need to pay attention then. The native American Indians have been paid off with monthly checks by the government for over 100 years. They've been told to live on reservations and do as they are told in order to collect this money. Their land/gas/water/mineral rights belong to the government. They have no rights except to live on land that was theirs to begin with. They have been demeaned and demoralized by their tribal leaders and are the statistically highest alcohol and drug users in the country. This nightmare of a life is given to them for mere crumbs from their masters in Washington DC.

Welfare recipients only "perceive" that their checks are from a benevolent source. Reality will prove itself to them in a short matter of time.

My business partner is First Nations and one year I mistakenly said "Happy Thanksgiving" to him and he glared at me... Thanks for what exactly??
