Feel so bad for those without power still - 12 days!

A few years back I was without power/telephone for over two weeks. Lived on top of a mountain and had over 5 feet of snow in one storm. Only a couple of feet had been forecast. And then more storms came. No one could get up to me (not even the Sheriff's dept. who tried) & I couldn't get out. And it was too long of a walk down the mountain. But I had a wood stove even though getting to the wood shed was a feat in 5 feet of snow since I'm only 5'2"! But I was stocked for the winter as usual since I lived so far out there. After awhile I actually started to enjoy it. No work, no phones, etc.

But the thing I remember was that each day seemed like a week in itself since getting the wood, heating water for a bath & cooking food on wood stove & other necessary things seemed to take up my whole day!

When help finally came after 2 weeks it seemed like it had been 2 months. Each day seemed to never end!

So 12 days for these poor people are a lot longer than 12 days to them! Hope they get their power back on soon! It's terrible that there hasn't been more help for them.

Where is the nearest fema camp in this area. I mean they have trailers with bedrooms and bathrooms and heat and for some this would be more normal than tent city and safer.

I don't get it. Why haven't they opened one up and started to let people that want to into them. They are set up like trailer parks. Why aren't they being used.

FEMA close up shop the day after the election. All a big MSM orchestrated publicity stunt anyway. They didn't do jack shit.
