These cuts are at first devastating for the Greek population and after a while destructive for the other struggling countries like Italy and Spain. And do not forget the sleeping beauties Ierland and Portugal. And France is already struggling with Holland in control. Another good point, the forced 18BN of weapons in the second memorandum where we said that it would better not to buy them since we are in a mess, but nope, Schauble said that since we made the order, we have to buy them. When earlier this year Spain asked for the same she achieved to cancel the weapon order. So, don't fool yourselves, elites want Greece to collapse and start the domino.

Very good OP, actually most of the people know these things here, the fact that most N.Europeans don't know is while their political class is scapegoating the Greek people 24/7, they tax their own citizens to "save" Greece and make money on interest and off course they don't give this money back to their people, which leads to average N.Europeans hating Greece while they don't understand that we are all being sucked dry by Brussels Reichstad here, look for statements of Austrian finance min. last summer saying "why we should we stop giving "aid" to Greece, we've made 19MN euros on interest". So yep, "saving" Greece with 30% interest rates on 2011.

Greece should follow Iceland's example, IMHO.

We're not Iceland though, a neighborhood in Athens has the same population as Iceland, and Iceland most certainly doesn't share a border with our neighbors.
