What keeps people from saying yes to God is that damned word God.

God is just a word. It is not God, but merely a label for something that cannot be labeled. It is foolish to force it on anyone.

People of faith would do better to just say "I LOVE YOU", or better still, demonstrate those qualities.

How can anyone be blamed for believing in God when those who profess to believe do not do what is plainly written?

For example, have those who professed Jesus is Lord given all that they own to the poor? Are they defending those imprisoned in the name of righteousness? Are they feeding the poor, healing the sick, comforting those who mourn, and doing ALL of their work in HIS name that he be glorified by their work?

Nope.

If they were, we would have thousands of Jesus' running around helping the world be a better place. However, those who profess to have faith, have not enough to give everything they possess to walk in his shoes, in his name, that he might be reborn through them.

The same goes for Muslims who profess that Allah is Merciful, yet they show no mercy.

The same goes for Jews who profess to keep the Law, yet maintain standing armies.

The reason people do not believe in God is because even those who profess to believe do not do what is written by the prophets.

Atheists receive more mercy for their unbelief than the believer will receive on the day of Judgement.

Oh and what objective reasoning do you have that this "love" has to be directed at the Biblical God but not at the Hinduistic pantheon of gods? Both notions of the Divine cannot be right at the same time you know.

You're lying. Your religion orders you to "preach the gospel" and get as many converts as possible. This backtracking and lying and acting innocent when you're not, is one of the MANY reasons people reject your religion. Don't you have some poor people to feed?

To answer you question, you are not alone about your way of thinking

I have studied the major religions and personally have come to the conclusion that the GOD of the Bible, the GOD of the Hindus, the GOD of Buddhism, and the other religions with that worship a Supreme God are the SAME GOD.

WE ARE A DIVIDED PEOPLE WORSHIPING THE SAME GOD

ITS THE MANNER IN WHICH WE DO SO THAT DIVIDES US.

But you are mistaken we are to "preach the gospel" not "push or force the Gospel"

We are not suppose to force Christ upon the people, and I know that many do so, but that is not the way.

Just like we are called to love and not to condemn but many to chose and find it more easier to condemn than to love.

I WANTED TO KNOW IF HE WAS REAL SO I LOOKED FOR HIM AND I FOUND HIM and I DIDNT NEED ANYONE TO PREACH OR SHOW ME THE WAY!!

Pure sprituality is not a particular religion. It is a direct connection to the
cosmic force that we all originate from, are a part of and will return to.
The method of connection is prayer and taking that leap of faith that is required.

A true spiritual connection means you are talking to God himself. It doesn't need and physical connections.
