What stops you from saying YES to GOD??

I meant to say is I wanted to aske people who are sincere, what is the real reason that keeps you from saying YES to GOD??

Because there is no such thing; I take full responsibility for my actions, I don't need to blame some devil or demon for anything I do. The only thing I can blame a harmful choice or action on is me; and since I create my own problems; I am also my own salvation from them; making the need for either a god or devil; totally irrelevant in the process of that. The rational have no need for faith or belief in such delusions.

the history of their actions directly opposes their claimed moral values.

after all this deceit , it is rather obvious that their is no christian god and they made it up

The only thing that keeps me from saying yes...It's got to be the number of people religion has killed in the name of GOD...HOW CAN YOU SAY YES TO THAT.

If he did exist in the form Christianity depicts him in per the Bible, he'd be completely unworthy of praise.

Luckily, there's absolutely no reason to think the Bible is a magic book that contains real information about metaphysics.

Put your money where your mouth is. Do you just SAY for God or do you actually ACT for God? I do at least one thing every day that is difficult or inconveniences but makes someone else's life better. I try to put myself in the place of another and help. I work very hard to help the people I work with each day feel better about themselves when times are hard.

What are you DOING for God, or rather (because he would not care that you DO for him)--What are you DOING for his children? Because if you are a parent you understand that it's not about you, it's about your CHILDREN.

God would rather we love and care for each other than for him, this is what all good parents want. Don't be fooled.

Yeah, what does the call say? LOVE each other, CARE for each other, HELP each other. Not "worship me in stone temples." Care for the sick, elderly, poor, dying, dejected. If you are not doing this, then you might as well forget about it because you are a hypocrite. God does not care that you are worshipping him if you are not giving of your very lifeblood to support and uplift your brothers and sisters.
