You are right. Unless you count the weird weather all over the globe and the number of serious quakes and swarms of same in places that haven't had earthquakes in recorded history.

Basically the world is falling down around our ears and everyone thinks this is "normal?" WTF is the matter with you guys? You have forgotten that Jesus himself told his disciples that he would "come like a thief in the night" and "that no man knows the day or the hour" (save for the father in Heaven.)

There are prophecies still to be fulfilled in the Holy Scriptures. But whether or not the fulfillment of them requires that the earth have it's current 7.5 billion souls living on it, or not, is anyone's guess. I suspect that 2012/21/Dec is going to bring some sort of major destruction to at least a part of the earth. Which part? I do not know. But perhaps if one part is destroyed the others will have time to escape or somehow prepare for worse things to come.

Are we at the "end" of human history yet? No. We are not. But are we getting darned close? Yes, I think based on scripture alone, that we are drawing toward that final year(s) of man's history as we know it on this earth.
