OP - you've got a good heart to see this, and a sharp mind to understand the strangeness that's going on in people. Don't be like so many and try to lay blame too close to home, it's more of a global problem these days. Used to be people knew each other, our worlds were smaller, it was much easier to make that judgement call that allowed for helping others. Today we are beset by news items where somebody somewhere did something nasty to someone else, but sometimes nobody knows who it was and it makes us draw in on ourselves. A little bit at a time and before long it adds up to a big thing, a knot in the back of our heads that hurts. Fear rules the day, for even if you do something good, if its not poltically correct, you are to blame. It's evough to drive anyone insane that holds on to their ethics and decides not to follow the sheep.

There are other reasons for going crazy, but this is the one I see most, and its the one we have the power to change because its ourselves that perpetrate it. I going with Seagal's way of doing things, since it's my way too. Don't give up.

Yes, everything is getting CRAZY! I live here in Brasil and I freaking LOVE this country. I know we have many problems and one of the worse ones is criminality. We use to deal with it in a daily basis, it was fine. A couple weeks ago, the criminals organized themselves and started terrorize the population. Burning buses, killing random people and a goal to kill at least 10 cops a day(which they are fulfilling). And it doesn't stops here. The MSM will not show this, after all we are the country that will host the next soccer world cup and the next Olympic games, so they need to show that everything is fine here, punishing publicly some corrupt politicians(a true theater), showing lots of improvements in all areas. What they DON'T show is the CURFEW that criminals imposed on population. You read it right CURFEW, if you are caught in the street after 7pm and didn't pay the "toll" you got a good chance of being SHOT DEAD. I almost can hear you saying "police", well, I got bad news again, police here is a joke, just another victim of these criminals, remember, at least 10 are shot dead every single day(don't even look you won't find too much on the MSM about this). So, yes, the world is going crazy, things will go out of control very soon.
