I'm slowly building up my bushie skillz.

Hope I don't ever need 'em, but I'll have 'em.

Thats kool but im lookibg for few people who are fed up and willing to walk away from society and do our own self sustaining micro farm

as stated id be willing to flip for the land in full and still have money for some solar wind and a few other odds and ends

no need to break our backs building either

we could do little one room cabins very simply
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24520447

Where are you located, or wish to locate?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16703657

Re: off the grid is anyone serious
About doing it or do most of you just talk shit about it and never intend on making it a reality

im offerig to buy land and share it with a few people so that we can make this a reality

i would lime wooded and fertile at least 10 acres for farming and firewood

i will pay for the land in full and still have a few bucks to contribute but i can not do it alonee

i need a few people willing to live the slow and peaceful life

a few farm animals
we could grow crops and small game for market
make cheese
have solar and wind and generally live quietly as life was meant to be
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24520447

OP I'm closer to it than most, and if you think it's going to be slow and lazy, you're going to get a fucking big wake up call. 10 acres, LOL.

And the beauty of it is people can join me for almost nothing at all

all i ask is that you pay for your own little cabin or shed or whatever you are going to live in

how much could that possibly cost?

2 maybe 3 thousand?

Hell im buying the land. animals
seeds
well etc
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24520447

you will have zoning problems building a bunch of single family homes on 10 acres
 Quoting: ^TrInItY^

True...

The Beast don't like dat.

Remember, Satan's ultimate goal, and LONG TIME game plan, has been to eventually FORCE people into an NECESSITY of taking the Mark of the Beast. Or you will not be able to buy or sell ANYTHING.

hen after it really gets rolling, there will be a death sentence on people who refuse to play ball with this warm and fuzzy NWO.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16703657

Geezpeople

You buy larnd in the boonies withno zoning restrictions

2. Don't re-invent the wheel. Find people that have already done it & learn from them.

Peace
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22911814

This!
It can certainly be done, OP, but would be much easier to join an already functioning community. They're out there and in several styles. Visit some and see what feels right.

If nothing else, you will get a better idea of what will work.

.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2920692

My problem is i have back problems so i need to work at my own pace and that is all i expect from thosse wishing to join

Joining one already established they would give me a hard time

So id like to extend my offer to those that would like to help one another not join a work farm where all you do is work

It really isnt that difficult

"we could live quietly as life was meant to be"

What a beautiful thought, OP

I wish everyone felt like that. Then maybe we could all stay right where we are and make everyplace "off the grid".

Grid. Matrix. That's what things are turning into. Some of the younger people now don't know what life used to be like. Real clouds, for one thing... Now you can be hunted down and have your life ruined if you catch on to how They are systematically ruining I mean changing everything. At my age having known a better world it fills a person with deep sadness.

Everybody's going to get that idea now. But it will be hard to build your cannabis empire in a region that is already totally corrupt. Colorado is home of many gangs, secret societies and OWNED politicians, legislators and law enforcement. This state is really, really dirty--be warned. And they have had time to build up a massive medical MJ fortress. I would assume the regulatory and growing phases are all mobbed up, too.

Good luck in Colorado. You will never escape the eye of the county officials. Trust me on that much. There are a multitude of codes. Permits are required. You will never get away with "off the grid" thinking. And by the way, high altitude Colorado is NOT in any way appropriate for growing MJ

Yes, for THAT money you will be able to run a small fridge and charge your laptop and have light assuming you have a clear sunny day everyday. During cloudy days you will need to switch it to gas generator or you food will spoil. Your batteries is the most expensive cost in the off grid solar/wind and they only last about 5 years depending on the brand
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12272678

you need Edison (NeFi) batteries for off grid, they last literally forever...check it out.

i offered a small chunk of land 10 ac for a very cheap price
had a person come out and camp for three months who had no money and very few skills ate a lot of my food and did very little of anything in that time finally got fed up with him
and got him off the property but he stole some property
as he was leaving.

properties are in nevada

i wont go into the specifics of this particular interaction
as i will only get pissed off more with myself for being so gullible and slow to act.

if you will take any advice

pick an area that you like and start building your own dream
dont expect anyone to share it with you at first or even help.

build it and they will come

(field of dreams i think)

some places are already a hotbed of offgridders some places are just very remote.

Trinity was right most places have building codes now
but there are many places where those building codes
are hardly enforced.

that guy who promoted earthships called them pockets of freedom i think you may try a search for that.

Hey

Yea thats what im gonna have to do but since i do not drive im going to have to figure out an alternate way to travel once i find a property.
I was looking at north .

Many cheap 10+ ACRES PROPERTIES THAT ARE WOODED AND FERTILE UP THERE AT UNDER 20K
And without zoning or restrictions.

A lot are already zoned fro camps so that would even be perfect.
