There will be as many as it takes to keep Petraeus quiet about Benghazi.

Precisely....Who cares if Petraeus has an affair. Besides, its CIA, they can keep dishing out news and reports that can make you go chasing shadows.

The point is the guy left. One of the reasons he left could be that he or the higher ups are fully aware of what they have done so far and in light of the upcoming hearing, they simply do not have time for explanations as their plans are moving forward.

If 9/11, Kennedy etc can be buried, so can Benghazi but it appears that they do not have the time to play such games as Petraeus could either have gone underground or being put to use on other plans or projects even with his resignation as Director.
