Because jurors have no clue how a court is supposed to work.

They have no clue that 'beyond a reasonable doubt' is not actually an opinion. But if you actually took a class in philosophy, you would know that it is actually a pretty clear cut thing.

So lawyers just pick jurors and use body language, hypnotic speaking patterns, and stupid shit like that to get people convicted or set free.

Because logical arguments hold no meaning for most jurors.
