The cold hard facts are these:

* It does not matter who is morally right / wrong.
* Hamas is in a very weak position.
* Hamas is stupid to attack Israel, yet in order to keep political power it must do so.
* The Palestinians, rightly or wrongly, have supported a movement that wants confrontation with their neighbor.
* These attacks from Hamas continue despite repeated warnings and beat-downs by the Israeli's
* The Palestinians hide behind U.N. and regional protection to avoid decimation, they expect to be able to restrain their neighbor's response via political power. So far, this has worked.
* Obama's overt support of the M.B. and the distancing America from Israel means the Palestinian's political support has lost it's teeth. Israel already feels isolated.
* A moderate response to Hamas's attacks will bring about exactly the same amount of isolation as a finishing attack. Thus a finishing attack should be executed.

Israel's only logical course of action is to utterly destroy the West Bank and kill / evict everyone in it. Only then will they have peace on that border.

There is no other real long-term solution because the Palestinians don't recognize Israel's right to exist.

I know this above solution will anger many of you. But the time is rapidly approaching when such measures will be taken not only in Palestine but all over the world.

Pax America is about to fall and woe to those on the losing side...even America.

If Israel goes into Gaza, Gaza will be emptied of all illegal Arab squatters. All illegal svartzes will be rounded up & shipped back to Eqypt.

you may be right and if they chose logic they would have to keep going and going because the border would not stop at the west bank

Their border would stop when the folks on the other side decide recognizing Israel and living peacefully with them is a viable survival strategy.

I expect Jordan, Egypt, Northern Lebanon, the new Syria and Saudi Arabia would have few real problems restraining themselves from overt activity.

Personally, I expect the following in the next few years:

* Egypt invades Libya.
* Hamas and/or Hezbollah cease to exist as an effective political / fighting force.
* Syria to fall under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood.
* Lebanon to be annexed by Turkey / Syria / Israel. It will cease to exist as separate political entity.
* Saudi Arabia / Iran go to war with the U.S. taking the Saudi side and China taking Iran's side. Russia will stay put and sell arms to everyone else in the region.
* Israel does NOT strike Iran. Really.

Maybe Israel should not continue to build settlements in foreign land.

And Be'er Sheva is more than 25 miles away from Gaza compared to Sderot which is exactly on the border !

If rockets are hitting Be'er Sheva at that distance, I can't imagine what life is like in Sderot or Ashkelon !

I CANNOT WAIT for Israel to inflict payback on their enemies. Just like God, their patience has been longstanding, but it won't be forever. Judgment is coming to the enemies that surround Israel the same way that judgement from God is coming to the world for their hatred of Israel and its people.

I'm praying for Israel.

It will take some time to gather the troops necessary for any ground incursion, I would look for some surprises though.

interesting how firing rockets at civilians is not considered by you as child killing.
While the palestinians have the intention but do not succeed to cause loses to civilians thanks to the efforts the israelis put on defending their people,the israelis do not have the intention to kill inocent people but unfortunately it is inevitable since the militants in gaza use civilians as human shield.

They're called double standards if I'm not mistaken !

Hamas is intentionally trying to kill Israeli civilians by firing rockets at cities from the rooftops of their schools and kindergartens...and when the IDF strikes back it's almost impossible not to kill little kids !

The only reason Hamas is not succesful in killing too many people with their rockets is because of Israels defense systems like the Iron Dome and Arrow 2 !

But defending Israel is not cheap, each time the Iron Dome fires to intercept a target it costs Israel US$40,000 per missile ! Now multiply that by the number of rockets intercepted in the last 3 days and you'll understand why Israel simply cannot afford to take much more of this pounding !
