My Theories on Roswell

first of all, I don't believe or disbelieve the canon Roswell storyline so I am not here to waste anyones time trying to convince them what really happened however I wish to mention one often overlooked detail

During world war 2, radar was coming into effect in the more technologically advanced countries. Now radar waves go through the atmosphere and shoot straight up into space leaving our earth. The mass use of radar during world war 2
may have set of a signal to whatever or whoever it was that crashed at Roswell

Because of the vast amount of Radar technology concentrated at the airbase near Roswell, Whoever crashed may have simply been following a locked signal to it's destination.

The grays may have been automations which had the sole task of space exploration or they may have been beings with far superior intelligence to us and may have taken the decision to explore our world. I lean towards them being automations, kind of like von Neumann probes.
