My friends aunt and uncles home was completely destroyed by a gas explosion when some heavy equipment damaged a gas main while working on the street, in a typical natural gas explosion most of the damage will be due to the pressure release inside the home blowing outward, anyway my friends uncle was blown through the third floor roof, none of the surrounding homes which were pretty close together were damaged!
