Well, we were right about one thing..now experts are saying they do not think it was the result of a faulty furnace.. [ link to www.cbsnews.com] that is what keeps being posted with documentation and footage of officials saying it is not furnace, gas, or meth lab. but the shills come on with multiple personalities thinking people only believe their gibberish. the night it happened, as you know, an that facebook page, there were countless locals stating the facts about this not being gas. the shill attention this is getting is like the gulf oil spill and says this is where people should be focusing. you can talk about obama, pedophile rings, illuminati, economy, corruption everywhere -- but this GoM/ new madrid methane is off limits. people should know that locals are accusing the police jury in Louisiana of showing old footage of the sinkhole now as it has grown scary. It's frustrating having all these arm-chair quarter backs. I listened to the scanner starting about 12:30am. It was bizarre and unless, as you know, you heard all that..a person is just shooting off at the lips. I really needed sleep, but I couldn't sleep because every single time I thought about turning the scanner off I would hear, another person found "unconscious." They were all over the place, not just in that area. We keep a scanner going at our house 24/7 because, as I have said before, a first responder lives here. So I think I know what's normally said on a scanner, and what's not. We scan all 10 channels including "ham radio" transmissions. Take that, and the fact that they have still not come out and said, "It's a gas explosion." When there was one in Castle Rock Colorado a month or so ago, they knew immediately that it was caused by a gas leak. Arm-chair quarterbacks huh? Well I guess you would rather listen to someone who has no knowledge on the subject. Cool. What I don't get about some of the posters on this forum is that they will believe that a methane release from the Gulf is an ELE, but a gas leak in a home will not even level a few homes. That makes no sense whatsoever. And yea, I was awake and listening to the scanner as well. Marion County MECA Fire and Rescue to be exact. It didn't sound good at all. And I was in shock as well. This is the whole reason I posted. Hopefully people can learn from it, regardless if it's gas or not. And I will be following this at least until they figure out what the hell aused it. Those people deserve an explanation for what happened. I do hope that they are not lied to, they deserve the truth, regardless. Excuse me, but I don't know you, and I didn't call YOU an arm chair quarterback. You have a paranoia problem if you think I did. I don't know what your "knowledge on the subject" is. I have no earthly idea who you are and what you do for a living..you don't know anything about me either, really.. I don't care who you are, and what you do or believe. You have a freedom to believe anything you want to. So do I. This board isn't about who is right and who is wrong. We discuss things here, and try to find the truth. It's called "brainstorming." We do it out loud.
