I'll go first.

During Desert Storm, we'd do anything to fill the void of time spent waiting. One of my favorite things to do was scorpion fight. We'd fight em for candy and stuff from home like cookies and Skittles, we'd call it "pogey bait".

I had the champion scorpion in the company. Called him Brutus Beefcakes. We won me a LOT of food.

One morning after stand-to, I went out into the desert to catch a bug for Brutus. I kept him in a Wadi al-Fatin water bottle. I went to feed him, and sometime during the night I had been sabotaged! Someone had stuck a ball point pen through Brutus Beefcake's head!

So I walked over to the A-33 tank, grabbed the mudflap on the front and gave it a good pounding. That's the tanker way of knocking on the front door. Sgt Pamplin stuck his head out of the turret.

"PAMPLIN! Did you kill my scorpion last night?!" See, Brutus has bestest not one, but two of his the day before and he lost BIG-TIME.

"That's SERGEANT Pamplin to you, PFC Bissette..."

"SERGEANT Pamplin! Did you kill my scorpion last night?!"

"I can neither conform nor deny that Bissette. Heh heh heh."

I know he did it... Two weeks later my tank commander traded my cot to the Brits for a case of rations. Bastards. All of them...

ETS'ing from 25th infantry division I was exempt from morning formation. My room was on the 2nd floor of the barracks facing the assembly area. I got the bright idea to liven things up a bit and turned my very large speakers toward the open windows. When the Captain called "Attention", I let rip an old tune from Johnny Paycheck, Take this job and Shove it". The company fell to pieces and the CO and 1st Sgt came hauning ass up to my room.

Garrison life was the worst. Some of our guys took a weekend trip to Amsterdam after the war. They were civilians 2 months later, whether they liked it or not.

On patrol one time a young lady waved us over to her door. We thought she might have some information for us. This was in 92'. There were other girls in the house. Maybe sisters or friends. Either way no adults were around.

We hung out for a little while and ended up banging the living hell out of those girls. Trust me they wanted it. I think it was one of those 'we have an excuse' type things. Like they could have called it rape if they got caught by their folks. Anyway they loved it. We passed them around like blow up dolls taking turns. One was sort of young though so she held back and listened.

My XO found out about it and laughed his ass off. We weren't allowed back in that sector though. Too sensitive I guess. I have other similar stories and I know of guys just flat out raping. The spoils of war.
