JUST IN: Israel "Major escalation 'within hours" | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 27669367 United States 11/13/2012 12:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Morming Update, 13 NOV: Israeli Air Forces overnight conducted 6 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27549851 airstrikes targeting open areas and #Hamas site in MA, GC and NG. #Gaza IOF overnight fired 1 tank shell towards East of #Gaza City. At least 16 HMRs and 10 mortar shells were fired by Palestinian factions. Ooh, 6 strikes... sounds scary. Considering that HAMAS, Islamic Jihad, al-Aqsa Marty's Brigade, PRC, PFLP and various smaller al-Qaeda offshoots both in Gaza & Sinai Peninsula.... have literally HUNDREDS if not thousands hide-outs, bunkers, coomunication rooms, weapon cache's, launchers, snipers, IED traps and tunnels... It wa probably more expesive and risky for Israeli jets to burn fuel, ammunition and risk getting shot down over Gaza than the 6 targets they allegedly took out. Yep, the same old Ehud Barak. Most decorated soldier in IDF. Master of Disaster. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 27671164 Romania 11/13/2012 12:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | To the contrary, I don't really see it as "grim" per se. Quoting: Asthon's succulent Volvo 11402457 Rather, I see it as REALITY. And reality is as beautiful and wonderous at times, as it is often cruel and pointless at other times. It is what it is. Israel and Jews find themselves in a position where they cannot (majorly) miscalaculate. Not militarily, not diplomatically, not anyhow. Hey, it's not that bad, really. Sure, Israel can be destroyed literally at any moment by an Iranian or a smuggled North Korean/Pakistani/Ukranian nuke. But hey, any one of us can also die literally at ANY moment, even people still in their teens like me....so the lesson here, if there is one, is you gotta learn how to appreciate life every passing moment. And turn "grim" things into FUN things, if possible LOL. Again, as difficult of a position as Israel finds itself in -- it's still a crazy, dynamic, diverse thriving high-tech country with a strong economy even during global economic crisis. Its recent oil & gas finds promise to turn it into a regional super-power within short few years. It just needs to hold on for a little bit longer.... And really, compared to the challenged of the Exile for 2,000 years... compared to all the Biblical hardships God put before His people... this is nothing. Likewise, compared to the Holocaust, this is also walk in the park. Life is really great, even when it's not. Allah does suck the big one, though, but Allah & his band of barbarians will never prevail in the end. You should really register for an account ! GLP needs more posters like you ! You're very coherent, well informed and really able to get your point across...it's really a shame for you to post as an AC ! Nah, I only post once in a while. And after getting banned the first 50 times I guess for insulting L. Ron Paultard disciples whos helped re-elect Obama... and somehow managing to piss off all the older posters in the "Big War Thread 2012"... this place just wasn't as fun anymore. So what's the latest on the Gaza tip? Any "cease-fire" that Jihadis can then freely ignore? Any of the usual anti-Israeli bitching by Mohammed Morsi peeps in Egypt? Has the world condemned Israel's "aggression" yet? Told you there is a reason why even right-wing government in Israel will think 10 times before going after terrorists. It's just too risky and complex -- for any army in the world, nevermind for Israel that has little to no room for error. If Israeli voters weren't such yahoos, maybe they'd learn a lesson of these days--- chief among them is "elections have consequences". So, for instance, when they backstabbed the aging, "uncool" patriot Izhak Shamir in 1992 and went with the Leftie "Peacemakers"... when they supported Kadima plan of unilateral disengagement from Gaza without securing the Philadelphi Corridor.... they got the terrible campaign of suicide bombings eventually turning into the 2nd Intidada and now a mini-Gaza war every 2-3 months....Costing the state 10s of BILLIONS of dollars in damage, in extra military spending and potential economic losses during that time. Likewise, in 2000 Israeli Left also betrayed their SLA allies and surrendered South Lebanon to Hezbollah where they now have 100,000 missiles and world's most sophisticsted (rural) terror networks, possibly including Assad's chemical WMD.... But have Israelis learned their lesson in all of this suicidal policy madness? I doubt it. That eminently unqualified, Marxist wnnabe, plastic surgery idiot Shelley Yachimovich might just win elections in Januate. LMAO. As you've said Israel has no room for error and has to plan its retaliations very carefully in order to avoid international condemnation however I think we have reached a critical time where Hamas and Hezbollah have gotten to powerful to be ignored anymore ! If Israel doesn't do something drastic soon it may find itself under attack from both sides in the near future and the attack will be much more powerful than anything in past years ! It will soon come to kill or be killed I think ! |

If Israel doesn't do something drastic soon it may find itself under attack from both sides in the near future and the attack will be much more powerful than anything in past years ! It will soon come to kill or be killed I think ! The problem is that today's Israeli leaders much like their Western counterparts, are for the most part CORRUPT COWARDS more concerned with pleasing their masters in Washington DC and Brussels.... That applies to to IDF commanders, too. They are glorified beurocrats with aspirations to either go into politics or easy, lucrative private sector careers. They certainly don't want to risk having to be arrested for War Crimes any time they leave Israel to go on a speeking tour in the West --- which is what will happen to any commander to dares to start taking our Islamic terrorists for real. So that's why you have the Managed Clusterfuck approach by the IDF. And Pali terrorists know it; their bosses in either Shia Iran or Sunni Qatar/Egypt/Saudi Arabia/Turkey know it, too. So they keep pushing and prodding Israel. They keep intensifying the diplomatic, information, economic war against the Jewish State, too. Next stop: Mahmoud Abbas "defying" Obama and applying for a status upgrade at the UNGA on November 29. Talk about kabuki theater. |

Seeing your German flag....I bet if you would have asked most Germans during World War 2 if they were particularly happy with their doom --- you know, as they were getting bombed pretty much non-stop by the Allied air-forces, while getting gang-raped buy Russian soldiers.... |
