McAfee is the best anti-virus there is...by far...
Quoting: d1k You're obviously not in the business of computer repair. Mcafee is a resource hog and its definition updates are often worse than the viruses they are intended to catch. Mcafee has often paid my bills (inadvertently) so I guess I shouldn't be too upset. Kaspersky is the one you want. Actually i've been in the business 18 years with 10 certifications and regularly test them. McAfee and Symantec both pick up virii that each other do not once in a blue moon. These two compete for first place and have for over a decade now. They go back and forth for first place. Some years they are so close in detection it comes down to which uses less resources. Kaspersky comes next The rest are all garbage. *edit, I'll put Microsoft Security Essentials at forth, then the rest are garbage. I'm actually pretty impressed with this newcomer. I use MSE and I go to many torrent sites. I never had any problems.
