Not a good idea to sign any petition or sign up with any political group anywhere.
The problem is right in their own state.
Petition to DC will only send them a list of names of dissidents.

Everytime she went to travel, she was pulled aside for questioning, even though she had never joined any radical group, and didn't have a criminal record nor a foreign sounding name she finally was told that people who signed any kind of "peace" organization petition or anti-war group were considered potential risks to the US military right or wrong, thats the way it happens. Ever since I started using GLP I have been detained at every airport ive visited. That is just the way it is now.
