I was wondering this. Taurid meteor shower? I know we are told that 99.9% of these small meteors burn up before ever getting near Earth, but what if our magnetic shield and atmosphere ain't what they use to be? I've read several threads and seen a lot of videos on this subject.

Seems just a plausible as anything else.

Yeah...BECAUSE, explosions happen EVERY YEAR AND ARE COMMON during the winter.

It's full of wood, saw dust etc.

Obviously it would be a massive blaze, stop reaching at nothing.

Anyone made a map of where all these explosions are? I'm too lazy to make one tonight.

And it could be, or it could be a meteor or E.L.F. The fact that I can't find where anyone has said a cause or even a speculation I find odd. I am not sure what the weather is like there right now, I have friends in Ashland, MT Olive, Morehead and flatwoods. I could ask them about the weather. If it has been as damp as it is here, and if they are not cutting standing dead timber then I find the sawdust idea much less likely. I do just think it is odd no one has said "we think it might have been this".

Maybe that's why people around Indy were also dizzy, passing out, vomiting and having difficulty breathing from increased methane concentration in the air.

Just a side note: Saw dust and anything milled within a mill is at risk of blowing up from the dust. Flour mill/corn mill has the same hazards.

Temperature inversions that can occur with rainy / foggy weather can trap gases (ie: smog: smoke + carbon dioxide + carbon monoxide), perhaps methane (pockets released from tectonic activity), at the surface leading to increased levels ....

I doubt you're really southern sometimes, Ceti. If it were anything, especially go-boom anything, I'd bet on moonshine. Isolated location in Kentucky... and the whole meth thing has seriously played out in the mid-south and it was never as bad as let on anyway, just an excuse for LEOs to get funds and fancy toys.

whats the distance from the EQ epicenter to sawmill? what time do workers start in the am? is there a gasline any where near it?can we get a map posted and more pics? anyone live nearby???? i wrote a theory about meth and other gas building pressures in the earth n comingg up.i do hope i am wrong. infoo?????????????? plz thx
