FIJI! How awesome is it there? Scale of 1 to 10? Always wanted to go.

OK it's poverty and dirty and crowded and pretty expensive for the stuff we all get back home and take for granted, but I feel these people are an ancient culture ( probably hidden from them) like Atlantis...

If you surf you gotta pay about 50 bucks a day which is pricey!

I must say sitting in a hamock for a few hours is just heaven.

I'm in a kind of hostel type place, but I got a olace to my self with aircon, for 35 bucks a night!

Food is pretty western/Indian/Asian.

The big big Fijians are huuuuuge, bur you feel as safe as a baby in mommas arms!

Another island to visit is the Kingdom Of Tonga. Bloody awesome country and the people are from heaven, I am so convinced about it.

Again they are material poor but nobody goes hungry. Nobody.

Went bought some groceries and was in a queue, this old guy about 70+ signals for me to go before him to which I say thank you very much but no you go. He insisted with a beautiful smile on his dial... I graciously accepted and I had about 3 times more stuff than him to buy...

I mean hell the 1st thing I thought about was how rare common fucking courtesy exists with our own societies, it really made me sad to think how we have lost our way as a collective.

That little gesture made my day and wanted me to "pay it forward" and so I did!

All I hear is laughter and happiness and LOVE here as I write this.

With the tech we have thesedays no such thing as lost! lol I mean I resist showing the Fijians my iPhone because I dont want to showboat - and to be frank tbese guys couldnt care aless about the gadgets!

A friend said kinda the same thing about Thailand.

You'ld be happy too if you were drinking that grog every day. That kava has a way of mellowing out the most unrighteous of days.

I have a big bag of organic kava from hawaii sitting on a shelf in my cupboard.

The surf was small yesterday, but due to go 3-5 ft tomorrow. On it! We surfed very small resturant lefts and playgrounds - cloud break wasn't working, Wilkes pass was ok but current got too strong.

The Fijians themselves do not surf which is ashame - due to the resorts claiming the rights - thats a bit wrong. Also nearby is an American billionaires HUGE mansion on the top of the biggest mountain is pretty bad...yet thd locals seem to hold no grief.

Another thing - the children are intelligent and can speak English better than me! The older crew also have gone to the effort to speak English to help accommodate the lazy tourist such as I.

There os a geko in my room - its fast as lightening! We have a deal that I'll let it be aslong as it doesnt crawl into my ear while I sleep. lol

If you're on the main Island, see if you can make friends with a local while standing in line for curry or something. I did, and he offered to take me up into the rain forest and visit a village, meet the chief, etc. He probably wanted to wrap his lips around my member, but who cares. I didn't get a chance to go, but very nice people.
