Not judging by my personal experiences, but generally speaking, under a planetary perspective, the '80s were far more livable than the current times.

Good and evil were distinct and easily identifiable if compared with nowadays. Satanism and general occultist references in pop culture were restrict to horror movies and heavy metal bands. Nowadays is EVERYWHERE! You find them in comedies, cartoons, most musical styles, all over the TV and even in cans of energy drinks.

There were no Lady GaGa, no Rihanna, no Jay Z, no Justin Bieber, nobody making Illuminati hand gestures 24/7, nobody praising reptilians, no cult of worshiping to useless celebrities, no stupid "reality" shows, no ultra-realistic 3D videogames for deepest levels of mind-programming, no HAARP, no weather warfare, no chemtrails, no gay agenda. The gayest thing you saw in the '80s was Boy George, but nowadays teachers are teaching anal sex and gay masturbation to 6 yo school kids.

WTF just happened?? It looks like Earth entered a hellish dimension in the turn of the millenium.

ahhh

more to the point do you miss being 25 years younger? And how a young mind perceived itself and its surroundings in the mind of a twentysomething? If so imagin people in the 80s bemoaning the 50s its all relative ie : the only perception of history is the history of the time n place you live in.my final point is a MAYBE our place in time really is different in many ways from previous ages of unrequited nostalgia chasers
