Re: David dIcke Debunked in 19 Seconds
This thread is about truth which comes from evidence, logic, facts, and proof. All I've tried to do in this thread is provide information and views which I think are important for people in the "truth movement." I've provided supporting evidence so that people can have accurate information to make better decisions.

In order for the claim that this thread and my intentions aren't about truth to be valid, someone will have to show that the following information isn't true because the following explains many of my reasons for creating this thread.

The more accurate information people have, the better decisions people can make isn't that what Icke is supposedly about?

The 2012 hoax alone has caused people to go insane and lose a lot. I knew someone who I believe was driven insane by it. He believed 100% in the 'Mayan prophecy' and that December 21st 2012 was the end of the world. I had to cut ties with him because he was too crazy for me. He said that aliens were coming to save certain chosen people on December 21st 2012 of which he was one and that people like him would be taken off in a giant spaceship. He had given up his whole life to that belief basically. It's tragic.

Now you've got Icke fans saying that the moon matrix theory and the belief system it leads you to (see below) are a legitimate view of 'reality' and they support it as valid and credible.

It becomes incredibly tragic when you realize that if people actually do what gorilla199 suggested:

"go and start telling your friends and all your families and your workmates and everyone that you meet, start telling them that you believe what David dIcke has said. You believe that the moon is a giant spaceship full of aliens controlling us with mind rays"

It's going to cost people their relationships, their careers, their standing in the community, etc.. That's what happened between me and my old friend I just mentioned. Him sharing his outrageous beliefs about 2012 and the aliens that would save humanity cost us our friendship. In the long run he ended up losing his job and I believe that was related to his 2012 beliefs.

You've got Icke fans supporting the the moon matrix theory and the belief system it leads you to as a legitimate, valid, and credible view of 'reality'. Icke fans are rooting people on to their doom.

It's not only that though. Icke fans don't care that Icke is leading people to this horrible abyss of a belief system. No one outside of Icke's circle is gonna believe the moon matrix theory and where it leads you to. That will only cause massive suffering for those who believe in it and their friends and loved ones too.

I've experienced something similar so I have lots of compassion for the victims here especially the children and spouses of those who believe this stuff, those people may suffer the most.

Where's the compassion of the Icke fans?

All of this has nothing to do with Icke, this is about a charlatan who is leading people to do their doom.

Icke fans should be open to all possibility especially the possibility that a different view of things is necessary for some people to realize what's going as is pointed out below:

I've had PMs from people, two lots of PMs. One is sort of like, "Thank you for waking me up I didn't actually realize what I was doing, I just got caught in this stuff.

If Icke fans had any real awareness they'd be happy that more information is being put out there so that people can make better decisions but what we're seeing from Icke fans in this thread is the opposite.

Why is it important to get this truth out? Knowledge is power. As is pointed out in the following video, some people have been led to a place they don't want to be because of Icke's belief system and they need help. I think about my friend and I'm sad that I didn't help him to overcome his insanity, I just cut him off. I may be trying to make up for that by doing this thread. I have a ton of compassion for people like him.

We've got the people who claim "Infinite love is the only truth..." showing no sympathy or compassion whatsoever. They won't show any sympathy or compassion for the suffering that Icke will do and has done with his other claims. I think that speaks for itself.

Quoting from this video below:

"Since my little bundle with David dIcke and of course him owning himself so spectacularly by claiming that the moon is a giant spacecraft inhabited by aliens controlling us with mind rays, I've had PMs from people, two lots of PMs. One is sort of like, "Thank you for waking me up I didn't actually realize what I was doing, I just got caught in this stuff. Well, yeah, you know, because, you know TV programs are called a program for a reason and you know, movies are the same thing, they are a program. They are a program that goes in your head and it will stay there, you know. The more interesting they make it, the more exciting they make it, the more it will fiddle with your mind. It will just, you know, mess around with you there and you want to hear words like matrix and blue pill, red pill, and you know the rabbit hole, and the spider's web and stuff like that. Because it makes for a good dungeons and dragons conversation. But, big kids get together and that's what they do, they're playing dungeons and dragons and they don't even realize it....

Do this: go and start telling your friends and all your families and your workmates and everyone that you meet, start telling them that you believe what David dIcke has said. You believe that the moon is a giant spaceship full of aliens controlling us with mind rays....

You discover that your wife has been having an affair behind your back and you say to her, "Why did you do it?" And she says, "I'm sorry baby but the aliens in the moon with the mind rays, they made me do it. It's not my fault." Are you gonna believe her? Are you? I don't think you are, are you? But, you see, this is the problem. If you're prepared to accept that the moon is a giant spaceship full of aliens controlling you with mind rays then you're gonna have to accept that your wife or your girlfriend or your husband or whoever one day can turn around and say that to you..."

I think this thread raises the question, why would you want to believe that you are at the mercy of some tyrannical reptile from outer space? Do you get off on fear?

Why do you rather not search for rest for your weary soul... love and peace?

A faith that leads to fear, for peace?

The Op is now moving on to Chapter 2 in his attack, as the 1st 10 pages here did not work.

SO he will claim that there is "danger". Some "friend" of his lost his job, and the OP had to cut of the friendship.

Another tells tales saying an Ic:ke fan was going down in coal mines, looking for reptiles!drama

Now he up to Chapter 3; IE, anyone who reads Ic.ke is somehow "mentally ill".

You know shills by their tactics: they will mention "strawman" , "ad hominems", "red herrings", etc.

It 's always the same, and very identifiable.

But it seems David's venues get more and more popular as time goes by. His books sell well.

His fans are normal, peaceable folks. So they MUST use smear tactics.

It's entertaining, though.

Not tales AC... the harsh reality of having your psyche swamped with erroneous bullshit. And although I didn't know the individual on a personal basis, it's still nice to know that he eventually reclaimed his sanity... last time I spoke with him anyway.

And Icke's fans are normal, peaceable folks? You know everyone of them do you? I think not. And let me tell you, the many I came across were all disordered individuals. I have no doubt that a huge majority of them are disordered also. They must be to believe in the utterings of a man who is mentally ill.

You are not going to get any kind of fairness in these situations.

It will be a lot of interrupting. They don't want any answers, just to make him look bad.

If you disagree, you are a "nerd type", you play a lot of "on-line computer games in moms basement", you "can't get a girlfriend.." etc.

An honest discussion of things is definitely not something they want.

More shill tactics.

When all else fails, accuse them of being "disordered". (they aren't like us, you see?, they actually believe in different things!)

Say Ic.cke is "mentally ill".

All very Soviet-ish. Next he will be saying we need re-education camps for anyone who has read an Ic.ke book.

And let me just say one last thing, German AC: I don't hate Icke, I just believe he is a very irresponsible man to precondition readers into believing so many things for so many years and then changing his mind when none of it comes to pass. Don't you see how utterly damaging this is to a person's mental state? But Icke doesn't care about the trail of destruction he leaves behind him, just so long as he remains in pocket for as far into the future as possible.

But hey, you remain in both ignorance and denial for as long as you wish.

Since they all believe differently, you have no idea what any of them believe.

And Ic.ke "changed his mind"! My god, we can't have any of that, now can we? I once believed Ford was better than Chevy. I since changed my mind. How irresponsible of me, that people may have listened.

I have yet to see any "trail of destruction", as there isn't any.

As for "mental state", from what I've seen, they seem to be a decent lot.

Well, if they are all heavily into Icke, then no doubt many of them will share a similar belief to varying degrees, and believing in bullshit strongly denotes that they are fucked up in one way or another.

Believing that Ford is better than Chevy is not exactly going to fuck your mind up is it now? Whereas roping people into believing that some major shit is going to go down in 2012 (over many years), then changing your mind (when you know nothing will happen), can mess with the mind somewhat. Not to mention all of the other stuff he has changed his mind on in the past.

Fact is, if you don't know for certain, then shut the fuck up or face the consequences of having so many people to answer to. It's that simple. But hey.. too much money to be made from books to keep silent, huh?

I have no doubt he will soon change his stance on the reptiles sometime soon because of all the pressure he has been getting to prove that they exist. 'Err, err, readers, I think I got it wrong about the lizards, err, err, they're actually werewolves instead.'

Fuck off Icke.

$2.5M/yr is what compared to the Mega churches and what their 'income' is.
I can see why his site doesn't have a donate button. The Government must love this, a religion (if he has a lot of followers) that pays taxes and uses public places at the going price.

Even the 911 truth people got to where they took classes on public speaking and they make a (comfortable) living speaking to a live audience now. Is it time for Trinity to take the show on the road also? I'm pretty sure this site is the best place to get all the real and unreal info floating around, easier to train somebody with all the info to speak in public than it is to get somebody who can already speak in public but is clueless about the 100's of subjects.

Here's what Icke fans seem to be doing these days (as far as I can surmise):

1. Evidence and proof are no longer necessary at all.

2. Faith is an important part of their belief system and they consider that to be fine.

3. The standard definitions and ideas about insanity are no longer relevant.

People like us going on and on about the fact that it's insane (by our normal standards) seems to mean nothing to these people because the word insane literally seems to mean nothing to them. I was actually mocked for pointing out that I was a victim of it in a way. Anyone with stories of the victims of insane woo woo beliefs in this thread are being labeled liars...based on what evidence? NONE! Some "Infinite love", what a joke.

The thing that bothers me more than anything is that they show no compassion, sympathy, or empathy for the victims of Icke and his beliefs or where the beliefs take you to as is described below.

As far as I can tell every one of Icke's fans in this thread support the the moon matrix theory and the belief system it leads you to as a legitimate, valid, and credible view of 'reality'.

This is insanity by normal standards and it's incredibly dangerous. But Icke fans just claim it's that's a legitimate, valid, and credible view of 'reality' based on NOTHING!

It becomes incredibly tragic when you realize that if people actually do what gorilla199 suggests in the video below:

I tried to post the following picture earlier but apparently it didn't work. I don't know if Icke's supposed "breakdown" of the early 90s was a real breakdown or a staged thing, look at the following picture...it strikes me as staged, that's just my feeling. Does it look like an admission that they were working together to you? It does to me but that's just me.

Great point about the government of Britain probably loving Icke. There's evidence for that actually. The BBC is owned by the British government.

Someone earlier asked this question:

If he speaks real, legitimate knowledge then why hasn't he been suicided?

To which I responded:

A much better question in my opinion is why has he been allowed on national TV in Britain throughout his career?

The documentary "David dIcke, Was He Right" is like an infomercial for him. Watch it carefully, there's tons of staged stuff in it that makes him and his family look great. In that show they don't ask any really hard questions about his theories, his lack of evidence, his failed predictions, etc.

You're not gonna get an hour long prime time special (that's actually an infomercial) on the BBC if the system considers you a threat. That would never ever happen.

I only ever saw 2 short clips of his early tv appearances, the why part was never given as the topic would seem to not even rate local cable let alone national talk show. Was that a 'jump-suit'?
Was that about the time the CIA was fucking around with the 'good' LSD, maybe he was a lab-rat gone wrong (or reptile).

OP, why do you care what people believe? Grown people who earn money have the right to spend it however they like. If they want to buy one of his books to see what his point of view is then that is their business. Also, if they want to pay money to hear him speak, that too is their business.

You don't like him, it's real simple. Don't spend your money or time on him.

You know, Jessie Ventura went after him on his show the other night. I was in shock at the way he was treated.
You know what shocked me the most? Here is Ventura going after someone who made money off of something they believe in.

Ironic, isn't it, that he made all of that money from being a wrestling star? How much money did he make off of people doing something he was "selling" as real? He knew it wasn't real, but he didn't have a problem pretending that it was and then taking peoples hard earned money to do it.

Possibly the most interesting and horrifying thing of all about this thread is that Icke fans are labeling proven facts and well-reasoned arguments supported by evidence or questions that are asking for an explanation of evidence as 'views'.

The word view is a synonym for the word belief. My conclusion from reading this thread is that when "Icke" fans use the word view they're using it to mean belief.

If someone can prove something then it's no longer a belief or a view, it's a fact.

The following are facts:

1. Icke has no hard evidence for his reptilian theory.

2. Icke has no evidence for his moon matrix or saturn moon matrix theories.

3. Anyone who completely believes in number one and number two needs faith to do so.

4. Icke fans who support the the reptilians theory and the belief system it leads you to as a legitimate, valid, and credible view of 'reality' are supporting a faith-based belief system.

5. Icke fans who support the the moon matrix theory and the belief system it leads you to as a legitimate, valid, and credible view of 'reality' are supporting a faith-based belief system.

Icke fans are actually calling numbers 3-5 above 'views' when they are facts.

My conclusion is that somehow Icke fans in this thread can't see a difference between beliefs and facts.

That's seriously insane but the word insane seems to have no meaning to them.

OP, why do you care what people believe?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22439663

The more information people have the better choices they can make. More information being available only helps people to make better decisions.

I think this thread raises the question, why would you want to believe that you are at the mercy of some tyrannical reptile from outer space? Do you get off on fear?

Why do you rather not search for rest for your weary soul... love and peace?

A faith that leads to fear, for peace?

I've been giving this a lot of thought. Why would anyone defend Icke the way his fans are doing in this thread?

His belief system is not comforting or attractive at all in my opinion.

Unless you're actually comforted by his 2016 prediction that around that time the big 2012 changes are coming.

Who would find that comforting when Icke pushed the 2012 hoax?

How does he have enough credibility for anyone to find his predictions comforting?

Or is there some other reason why these people take him so seriously?

Quoting from "David dIcke, Arizona Wilder and the Biggest Secret" By Ivan Fraser

To me, Icke bears all of the main attributes of a cult leader. I am of the opinion that ALL who open themselves to guidance from external forces are being manipulated by the unseen archons that influence religion, control the illuiminists ,Masons, cults, New age channellers, prophets etc. they are astral souls who did not ascend to Source and are stuck int he astral heavens that they themselves created by their misperceptions whilst alive.

They see themselves as ascended masters and guides and are trying to programme humanity via their influence through the auric field, by preprogramming souls to reincarnate into new born souls, all with the intention of creating their heaven on earth. They create gurus and messiah sand prophets - and these people then programme others by dint of their cult of personality.many are absolutely genuine and don't realise that spirituality comes from within, even though they continually tell people it does. They lose self-awareness and become convinced they are on a mission to save others, or they cannot ignore the drive to preach to others what is being fed to them from 'beyond'. The more they heed the voices and the more mytical experiences they have, the more they open up. And their drive is male intellectual energy. It isn't felt within, it doesn't come from their spirit, it is downloaded and repeated. Their veil of perception makes them see only what the controllers want them to see. They filter what goes in and then spew it out as a distortion of reality.

They don't sympathize or empathize with others, they intellectualize and create rules and regulations and interpretations to explain things to others. They believe they have a gift and become impermeable to criticism, finding reinforcement of their opinions by others who parrot back the same misperceptions to them, and they couldn't care about those who disagree.

Do you want to know what Icke has actually done to expose "sick pedophiles"?

I have to post the following video which I ran across. This guy is laughing at what you just said because of Icke and his totally irresponsible 'reporting':

How is Icke helping to expose anything when people are having that reaction?

And, actually, the reaction is totally appropriate and correct by normal standards. The guy is trying to examine Icke's article like a normal person would, taking it on its own merit.

I don't know how much Icke has helped expose "sick pedophiles" in the big picture there's lots of other researchers exposing that stuff but Icke's the only one of them who gets laughed at in doing so by the public that I've seen.

An unbiased observer might say that he's discrediting the issues far more than exposing them. As is pointed out in the video above, it's Icke's total irresponsibility that causes people to laugh and rightfully so by normal standards.

Bullhorn Jones thought that David "Icke"'s reptilian stuff was "asinine" and "it discredits all of the reality people are talking about." According to Bullhorn Jones, Icke was doing more harm than good in his work.

Here's another fact that Icke fans seem to labeling as a 'view':

Someone who continues to claim to be a prophet after many failed predictions is called a charlatan because that fits the definition of a charlatan:

A charlatan (also called swindler or mountebank) is a person practicing quackery or some similar confidence trick in order to obtain money, fame or other advantages via some form of pretense or deception.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Therefore, it's a fact that by the normal definition of charlatan, Icke is a charlatan. That's a fact but Icke fans will probably call it a view.

Again, Icke fans in this thread can't see a difference between beliefs and facts apparently. It's frightening.
