The comment about the circle timeline is about how we always repeat history and never grow as a species. We always comes to these Armageddon like conditions where we endanger ourselves. Why don't people think about history? Think about where we were and where we are now. What does having a black president say about American racism? What do the forgotten white slaves mean in a historical context?

As far as 'white history' goes, there really isn't any. There is European History, German History, History of the Catholic Church, Western History in general. My point is very few 'whites' use their race as part of their core identity. If you ask them about their family history they identify as being of french or hungarian or whatever nationality. I am not saying racism doesn't exist or that all the ills of the past have been dealt with. But is a 'white man' is a racist just because he happens to be bald and stocky? Is he a klan member just because he drives a pick up? Is he part of the oppressive banking elite just because he wares a business suit? Is his life any easier just because he's white?
