The research on lack of or the existence of something creating us has not yet been concluded. Yet, atheist seem to believe they have it all figured out. Maybe the traditional religion is not correct on their teachings... but that doesn't mean a creator did not exists before time. As far as I know, no one knows what existed before time and space.
