big earthquake warning west coast

look at usgs, the pacific plate is goin wanky, i think with the eclipse , somethins gonna give, looks bad

I typically ignore these types of posts especially when there is no scientific back up provided or links. HOWEVER, I opened this post JUST because of the title because I feel it too.....no reason other than GUT! I hope we're wrong!

Its going to be sooner than later. Early morning would be my guess.

I kind of feel a gut reaction on it too. So much shaking up there.

There was just a 5.4 on Queen Charlotte Islands (west coast Canada) a little bit ago. I feel like there is going to something HUGE tonight/early morning. Just a feeling...very on edge tonight, feel like I have an earache (this happened to me right before the Japan earthquake). Plus, there is a solar eclipse tomorrow 12:30 PST.

Intermittent hum noise here in Pacific Northwest just started up not more than 30 minutes ago. Coming from the air it seems.

That one (now 5.1) was preceded about 1/2 hour earlier by a 5.4 off the coast of Chile.

Generally when the the Pacific plate begins to let off steam, you will see something unfortunately a bit more devastating on the other side of the Ocean.

Look for example at the Island chains vs the Continents.

They often take it very hard over there.

I'm seriously not trying to ask a stupid question, I just want to understand how this all works. If there is a west coast warning for major EQ 13 -16th, how does this effect the New Madrid? I live in that zone so I wanna be prepared.

The America's West coast is getting hit today..who knows if California will get a big one or not? Somethings gotta give somewhere for sure next couple days- and M flare was announced earlier so expect more quakes!

I have to admit I'm a bit nervous about today..

Cascadia is going to slip at Juan de Fuca.

I've had this feeling all weekend. yup.

Only time will tell. But I do agree that something will happen over the next three days, just may not be along the west coast of America.
