What flavor kombucha are your drinking?

Love Gingerberry and Hibiscus, Guava is great too. Drink a bit & add some chia seeds, shake, wait at least 15 minutes & enjoy.

Sounds good. My friend's homeopath told her to be careful as he's had clients end up with interanl fungal growths because they weren't preparing properly. One of them was the tea.

2 tblsp chia seeds to 8 oz of liquid gives you a nice watery consistency. Just be sure to drnk a couple of inches of your kombucha before adding seeds as they will absorb whatever liquid you are using. When it is something fermented like Kombucha's it can be explosive> Some flavors more than others so I just open the top to release some air. Learned the hard way when i added to Guava, shook & let sit for an hour in the fridge. When i opened it exploded all over, pretty funny actually. They sell rasberry, grape & cherry with chia but I like adding to Hibiscus, mango etc.

For a super drink blend 2 tbsp of hemp seeds with 8 oz of water & then add your chia seeds, shake, let set and enjoy. I make it at night and drink the next day. Enjoy :)

I make my own and I like it best with strawberries and blackberry puree which I also do myself, or I like pomegranate juice etc.

YOu buy a bottle of it and use as a starter. those adds on google for free mothers, the mother is the end result, not the starter. Any bottle of live kombucha from the store will start it, but there is one brand that makes a nice fizzy but no mother, and so it not true kombucha or it would would produce a mother. That is GTS brand.

The brand I start mine with when I need to start a fresh batch, when the old ones are getting contaminated with air bacteria is High Country, made here in colorado

oh bs and more bs. the homeopath probably gets a cut off some other brand.

Internal fungal growths are prevented by kombucha. Caused by things like oral sex and too much antibiotics.

I have no idea what the details were in that situation nor would I jump to any conclusions one way or the other. I was simply passing along info. I drink Kombucha daily and have never had a problem. The GTS brand is wonderful.

But you can't start real kombucha with it with GTS brand. it won't grow a mother, so it's mislabeled is my issue is all. It is something else, not kombucha, but I am sure its fine to drink.

There are a LOT of dishonest homeopaths out there by the way, just as dishonest as doctors. That is my issue. If kombucha is not prepared right, it is SPOILED and one would not drink it. Do use a good NON GTS brand as a starter though. Otherwise you won't get kombucha. GTS has to much yeast in it.

It's a dark berry slightly sweet taste. Sort of. ;-)

Red Clover , Green Tea and a Extra Lucid Dream fermented .

Got mango, mixed with green, and added sparkling water, ummm mummm.
