Its a plate boundry, Its been doing this for billions of years, or 6000 years depending on education/religion, ethier way its been doing this for a looong time.

i've been watching quakes for 10 years straight. and yes, this week we are having a 6.+ daily, that is not the usual. 4.'s are to be found daily, but not 6. and up.....

Yes when did you start watching, yesterday? However right now we are in a upswing.

we go thru periods of 6+ daily. What is curious and an issue is our sun is still quite inactive and thus not the cause of the increase right now. Momma is.

3 m class solar flares today. 12 for the week but not Earth Directed so they still count. 0 zero spotless days for over a year almost 2 years. I'd say thats pretty active.

Earthquakes over the 6 range and so many since January. 3 times the normal and climbing.

Jupitor. Sun. Earth Alignment and total eclipse this week.

75 active Volcano's since January and the normal for a year is 35-40.

Nothing is Normal right now.

Another point of interest is The Black Hole in the Milky Way Galaxy. It has realeased a Flare everyday and they are getting stronger. Been doing this for months and now they have just started to tell us.

Have we been getting 6s daily? It seems like it's only been two 6s or so the last two days, not longer. But then it's hard to keep track sometimes.

It's not that unusual. Sometimes earthquakes come all at once, especially when there was a big one.

The Milky Way’s black hole shoots out brightest flare ever


November 7, 2012 – SPACE - For some unknown reason, the black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy shoots out an X-ray flare about once a day. These flares last a few hours with the brightness ranging from a few times to nearly one hundred times that of the black hole’s regular output. But back in February 2012, astronomers using the Chandra X-Ray Observatory detected the brightest flare ever observed from the central black hole, also known as Sagittarius A*. The flare, recorded 26,000 light years away, was 150 times brighter than the black hole’s normal luminosity. What causes these outbursts? Scientists aren’t sure. But Sagittarius A* doesn’t seem to be slowing down, even though as black holes age they should show a decrease in activity. –Universe Today
