ABOARD A U.S. MILITARY AIRCRAFT — The FBI probe into the sex scandal that led to the resignation of CIA director David Petraeus has expanded to ensnare Gen. John R. Allen, the commander of U.S. and NATO troops in Afghanistan, the Pentagon announced early Tuesday. According to a senior U.S. defense official, the FBI has uncovered between 20,000 and 30,000 pages of “potentially inappropriate” e-mails between Allen and Jill Kelley [ link to www.washingtonpost.com] In his statement, Panetta said Allen would remain as commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan for now, “while the matter is under investigation and before the facts are determined.” But his time there may be short. I don't have 20,000 - 30,000 pages of ANYTHING and I've been on the internet since 1995! WTF? Yeah, let him stay in charge there, I'm SO SURE he has his wits about him and can make life and death decisions! Agree! When do they have time to do their job if they are sending out this kind of correspondence? Guess he must type really fast, huh? 20 to 30 emails a day for a 1000 days, each and every day. Unlikely...
