I have been awake for over 24 hours straight...

Next week will be worse.

Sadly, the body was meant to cycle up and down in a traditional daily cycle. While it may end up being useful for you to stay up, in the long run it's not so great on the body.

I was gunna ask have ya got the giggles yet?

Next week is the week of Thanksgiving, which will be at my house, but that is not the crazy part. I also have jury duty next week plus two 30+ hour/week jobs.

if you stay up for 7 more hours you won't feel the need to sleep and you will feel a slight euphoria

I already got past that somewhere about 3 hours ago.

aaaahhhh....if I stay upfor 7 more hours I will have to go to work again!!!

that is nothing. yea wait until youve done 5 days, you'll start becoming dellusional and paranoid. its horrible.

I actually went a full 7 days without sleep I had my second child. I hallucinated like a mother fucker and then I could only sleep for 4 hours at a time for a couple of weeks.


I'm a little dizzy.

I work night shift...

I stay up every weekend for 30+ hours at a time.. it is really starting to drain me.

I would recommend not making a habit of it, you'll get bags under your eyes and feel sleepy all the time, it's not healthy.

I know right...but I am hoping that nobody will want to get started on major cases the week of Thanksgiving. I really rather doubt that I will be fully lucid for the whole thing.

Olay regenerist will keep the bags at bay, but I'm not sure about the crazies...

6 minutes (give or take) to arrival of school bus...then I can sleep...

not if you give your mind a time-out now and then, eat right, and supplement with extra nutrients (eg. serotonin precursors like tryptophane sugars and likewise).

Sleep deprivation ftw, I love it. 4 days is the most I've done, with micro napping the only thing keeping me alive. I tend to fast at the same time. I love the way you almost start to float, and get a strange detachment, interspersed with periods of extreme sensitivity to external stimulation.

when you do sleep after days of sleep deprivation, its like skipping straight to the lucid dream part.

I cant sleep for last 30 + hours . Feel like a zombie but when I try to sleep I cant . WTF ?

Thankfully sleep deprivation, like most bad things people choose to do to themselves, is usually self-limiting.

24 hours is nothing.
The fun starts at around 72 hour mark.
The shadow people and other stuff start to manifest.

Give up dairy, alcohol as well as caffeine.

Allergies can do this.

I have a bad problem with insommnia. There are many days when I'm awake for 24 hours straight. Getting through the next day at work is damn hard.
