What is your honest expectation of the next four years?
For the past week we've heard claims both that America is saved and that America is dead. We've heard lots of both - that Obama is the antichrist and will destroy the world, or that Romney would have worked only for the rich and would damn the poor.

So here's what I would like to know: I'd like to see what people HONESTLY think. Don't spend your time here replying to others and yelling at them for their responses. Just post a single reply with what YOU predict will be the result of the next four years. Yes, I expect some people will troll - don't feed the trolls by replying to them. Just post what you really think will happen.

For me, I think we'll see the steady increase in jobs and the economy that we've been trending lately. I think the deficit will stabilize a bit, but I don't think it will be repaired much. I think Obamacare will take effect and won't be as big a deal as people made it out to be - good OR bad. All in all, there will be no great increase or decrease. Just a slow, steady incline. (incidentally, I would have expected that if Romney had been elected, too)

So how about you? btw, I plan to save this and will repost it near the end of Obama's second term so we can all remember what was said. So don't turn it into a bitchfest with one another. Stick to your one post with your true expectations.

From my own experience, I see an increase in income taxes and a rise in the cost of living, which is already high. My income taxes have been going up since 2008. I see more job loss due to not only Obamacare but the loss of manufacturing and tech jobs. As for a decline in healthcare, I hope the lines don't get longer at the doctor and that I can still choose the one I want.

I expect more of the same of the past 4 years. The taking part of society will continue to grow, the producing part of society will continue to diminish resulting in ever increasing debt, and a political system unwilling to actually work to reverse the trend which will have the US looking more and more like Greece every day.

And I don't think Romney would have been much better. Maybe slowed the course of events somewhat, but he also had socialist leanings.

What I see happening in the next four years based off of what is occurring right now, this date, is as follows;

This country is now a social democracy, lead by an ego-manic that refuses to surrender any authority to any Constitution. He leads by decree, having removed all democratic election process, and legal system. He claims that democracy still exists in the country, but forbids any opposition to his rule.

Through Homeland Security, he has created an army of indoctrinated syntonic youths to create a massive police force answerable only to the leader, and bound only by the laws and directions created by the leader.

The State is everything; everything else is subservant to the State. The State is infallible.

I see China (and Asian generally) playing a larger role in the world economy, and in ours. They'll buy more land, take over more businesses, buy citizenship (yes that is possibly legal today) and get elected into local leadership positions. They will play a large role in bailing us out of our debt.

Latinos will increase in population but not necessarily in clout. Their cultural values involve hard work but not necessarily leadership (unlike asians and whites who like to be in charge).

Black Americans will continue to decline in clout and numbers. They are killing themselves off and Obama hasn't really helped that. Oh, he will give it a half-hearted try, but it won't work. For one thing, he doesn't really give a flying f*ck about black people. Inner cities will continue to decline.

Whites will develop even more of a siege mentality than they have now. More whites will flee to rural outposts like Montana, Idaho. A new white power type movement will develop. Not sure exactly what form it will take, but it will get news headlines.

Economically, things won't change much. We may get some manufacturing back but it will never be like it was in the powerhouse 60s.

Environment will continue to erode as we learn that Obama, in fact, cannot make the oceans recede. And that in fact he wants to "drill baby drill" after excoriating Sarah Palin for that in 2008.

Everyone's expectations will decline. Americans will wake up to the fact that a middle-class family actually can NOT afford a gardener, a maid, a 4-bedroom house, a boat, an ATV, private school, dinner out 4 nights a week, and season tickets to the Cowboys. This will be a good thing, for the most part.

More of us will be involved in the barter economy. Cash-only to avoid taxes. More of us will be homeless, renting, or living in our RVs. I predict that at least one National Park will have an influx of people trying to live there -- this will be a major news story.

I predict governments, both fed and state, will grow larger and that will be where more and more young people get their jobs. This is the European model.

I predict that I will be on the verge of retirement, transitioning from the 53% productives to the 47% bloodsuckers. Can't wait.

I think Economy was improving and would of continued but this Obamacare will knock it down and beat it some more.

I think that not much will get done in DC as republicans wait for elections in 2 years and just hold off. Having balanced a budge yet why start now!

I think Obama will empower UN laws over American people. Set the UN up as an more ruling body over USA. Then he will move there and become UN President and rule world Government.

I think that will be Obama's purpose this term since congress is a dead end. He's gonna promote UN Gun Laws, UN taxes..etc..etc

I also think Obama will come out as the gay muslim he is.

I expect for the U.S. economy to get worse, the police state much more powerful and visible, another war, another false flag, a possible pandemic, a declaration of martial law, American's stripped of more freedoms and rights. I expect the Rothchild/Rockefeller machine to make good on it's agenda to bring us to our knees and force a new world order/government on all of us.

What do you expect?

I'd say pretty much the same. Things are going to gradually improve. Obamacare will go into effect, and there'll be issues with it that will be addressed with tweaks to the relevant laws and regulations.

Obama's not going to take away everyone's guns or declare martial law or cancel elections. You heard it here first. ;)
