Oh come on, tell us how you really feel about Christmas.

I don't partake in the normal Christmas rituals.

Although, I do love the Winter Season.
Snow and all, beautiful.

I love being able to be with family.
Love it all!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

So I take it that you don't like Christmas.....?

I'm not a huge fan of it, but its more the commercial side of it that I don't like. We have our own traditions, no longer have cable (no tv show repeats and its not the same thing on every channel)and don't do mass amounts of gifts.

Like someone else said.. I do like the winter season though. I live in northern Wisconsin and I can't remember not having a white Christmas (specifically fresh snow on Christmas) and we have the opportunity to cut down our own tree instead of buying one. Then in the spring we replant saplings.

Try making your own traditions. If it means you don't eat what everyone else eats then so be it. It doesn't have to follow what everyone else does.

I hate Christmas...the traffic and people clog up the streets and stores so it's a pain in the ass to go out and do anything...

You sound like a lot of fun to hang out with! I bet all the girls wanna hang out with you!

Nowhere in the Bible does it say to celebrate Christmas...the Bible shouldn't be added to or subtracted from...Christmas is nothing more than a global economic stimulation day.

All the girls I know dont like Xmas either, so we hang out great!

One of the advantages to living in a small town! Before we moved here we lived in a larger city in MN and it was horrible. We generally avoided the mall anyway, but it was impossible between Thanksgiving and Christmas and so was any other retailer.

I'm going to take the kids to get their Christmas stuff this weekend probably, with the day after Thanksgiving being the busiest shopping day of the year we avoid the stores like the plague...haven't wrapped presents in years, since the kids have outgrown it, thank god...no tree and ornament bullshit either :)

I won't lie.. I look forward to those years a bit. We'll probably still put out a tree though because I do like how a real tree makes the house smell. Mine are 2 and 4 so I can't get away with that yet. I've got a while to deal with Christmas. Our present deal is rule of three. Something they want, something they need and something to read. Husband and I haven't gotten anything for each other in years. We like it that way because we pretty much get what we need throughout the year anyway.

Btw- +1 for a no bullshit Christmas :) Just don't tell Cheshire I gave you karma! lol

I'm wanting to go see it, heard it was really good but I don't want to waste the money if it's not worth it.

Birthdate is unknown yes, but some guess that it was in a warmer season than winter. I wonder if they randomly plucked one and it all is just a coincidence that Nimrod's birthday falls on the 25th of December. That Nimrod took his mother as a wife sure seems to fit in with the inbreeding in high society that has a lot of Babylonian nuances.

I won't be thrown into the same bs that the world will attempt to shove down my throat. Why should any of us. Why give Walmart a boost this year, when they are busy shutting down mom and pop stores? Why put up with long sales lines and fighting over black friday sales. Its pointless, and a distraction. If your a parent, let your kids pick out a gift in your price range, and buy it before Christmas, (except black friday), and save the rest of your money for food, and supplies. If everything is going to go to shit, you need food, and supplies. Don't waste your money on stupid crap this year. Who needs a freaking new Ipod, the suns gonna fry it anyway, probably, new TV? Same thing. Be smart, don't waste your money.
