Did you ever happen to read his books? Not the ones that were cleanly rewritten after he became a senator, but what was actually written before he became known. In them, he clearly states that his desire is to destroy the US. He will destroy the military by subverting the cohesion of the command and enlisted men, and then disarm it by congressional infighting. he added that he will destroy the US economy by creating useless regulations, and creating both class warfare and race warfare. His stated goal to divide the country would be done by ignoring law and inter posing his own "living" laws to better reflect a moderation of old laws to today's more liberal ideations.

Everything he has stated that he will do, he has done. He cares not for the US, but for creating chaos in order to subvert laws to suit himself.
