The populations of wealthy countries is declining. Look, I'm not a socialist. I was just thinking about technology and how its making whole industries obsolete. And I suddenly realized that one day we might actually have the technology to make all NECESSARY jobs obsolete. So when robots do ALL of our farming for us. Get all of our water. Manufacture buildings in a single day, etc. What kind of economy could we have? It is beyond my imagination. |
