Except back in 2000, secession from "Jesus Land" was seen to be a good and noble thing

I lived in New England and I remember hearing the positive interviews with the "brave" heads of the Vermont independence movement on "Democracy Now"

I guarantee if Romney had won and Hawaii, Vermont and Oregon were the ones signing these petitions with 70,000 votes, the media would be clamoring that it was a clear sign the will of the people had been ignored

I just want there to be some consistency how these things are seen...
