'Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death." Thomas Paine, The American Crisis, No. 1, December 19, 1776 "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it." Thomas Paine, The American Crisis, No. 4, September 11, 1777 "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power (of money) should be taken away from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson, U.S. President. "A majority of the people of the United States have lived all of their lives under emergency rule. For 40 years, [79 years now in 2012] freedoms and governmental procedures guaranteed by the Constitution have in varying degrees been abridged by laws brought into force by statutes of national emergency." |

spoof User ID: 1231023 United States 11/13/2012 08:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a better idea for a petition. Instead of individual states leaving, let's kick Washington D.C. and the leaders who rule there (congress, president, supreme court) out of the country. Include New York City to include the bankers. Create a constitutional government (based on the constitution and not the bankers) and make a new capital (Say Lincoln, Nebraska). It's truely not the Americans who need to leave, but the mob bosses running us into the ground. Oh yeah, that won't go anywhere either, but may be the best solution. |

Just about everyone signing these Petitions are likely U.S. citizens, so where would they be deported too? There is one country that can't wait to start a war in the middle east. All you armchair warriors can go there and fight your armageddon |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 27679297 United States 11/13/2012 09:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the last time secession happened we became a corporation named united states of america in order to pay back loans needed to fund the civil war to england . now you are a corporation, so says everything with your name in all capital letters. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14767373 [link to www.freedomsphoenix.com] do we really want to stay apart of this false government? should we keep asking the government for permission to do things? (like getting married, smoking weed(medicine)on and on) we petition the obama administration to: Issue an apology to the people of the Southern States for the illegal war of conquest waged against the C.S.A. Being as the people of the South exercised their right of self-determination by withdrawing from the Union in 1860 and 1861 and formed the Confederate States of America, an independent nation, and that the government of the United States then waged an illegal war of aggression which devastated the territory of the Confederate States and resulted in the deaths of more than 300,000 of its people, We formally request that the President of the United States, speaking on behalf of the Government of the United States, issue a formal apology to the citizens of the former Confederate States for the invasion of its territory and all crimes committed against the people of the South by the armed forces of the United States. Quoting: MHz You are actually correct. But then according to that rule, the CSA was following the constitution regarding states rights and they were finished with a Federal scorched earth drive through the south. I put nothing past this regime and just when I think "no, they won't do that," by God they DO do it and more! This country is upside down economically, socially, politically and constitutionally. They may not exile us, but in the very least, the minions are telling their supreme leader they want the REVENGE they voted for! That was North against South, This is neighbor against neighbor! |

The perpetual election. This is enough to make people crazy which is exactly whats going to happen. The best way to destroy a country is to divide it from the inside. You guys missed your chance for a 3 party system now all you can do is stand divided once more and the rest of us will watch as you tear yourselfs apart. Your all playing right into their hands. Great. |
