What's a crystal tone?

Go see a doctor right friggin now, the longer you wait the more damage to your hearing will happen. I get it very frequently, it's not tinnitus, the tones and pitch change all the time. How do you know its not a tinnitus. Because your symptoms sure sound exactly like it.
