Worked for these guys for 12 years. Fuck them.
Fun fact: About 3-4 years ago, someone brought a class action suit against them for non payment of overtime. This involved all salaried asst. managers. Papa johns fucked up on their job classification as food prep, which enabled them for overtime. Of course, the case was settled out of court. About a year later, Asst managers were told that their job no longer exists, and would now be an hourly position. These guys went from making about 500-700 per wk down to about 8-10$ an hour, not to mention the loss of benefits (401k, premium insurance, tuition assistance, bonuses, etc.)Isnt that neat? Oh, and btw, Mr John Schnatter is a fucking dickhead personally. He lost his way when the company went public in about 2001-2002 (dont remember exactly when) Before that, he was a cool dude. Even gave a 10% raise across the board to all salaried employees in 2001. Now its just a shell of its former self, and just like all other corporations, beholden to the stock holders. Sad indeed.
