Saying "God did it" is a filler expression for things we can't explain yet. As we learn more about how the universe works, things that have previously been credited to God have been explained by science. Supporters of science stand by the term "theory" because they're not insecure about a belief in something that has yet to be concluded as fact. |

In fact, there may well be a superior being coexisting with us in time and space, who feels the need to create us, imbue us with free choice, exhort us to at once believe in it and love it with the threat of a hellish realm, but it is definitely not behind the origins of this cosmos. It's just another time driven being like the rest of us, wending its way through cosmic eons until it eventually is extinguished. It may have the ability to project visions in our space, to speak to us in our heads, but god it aint.
