Oh, bullshit! Tax income in 2007/2008 was the highest in history. And it was the Bush tax cuts that did it.

Yeah, let's forget the largest income from taxes EVER under Bush and pretend Obama "inherited" this instead of causing it.


And check the federal budget to see that 70+% of all federal spending goes not for wars but ENTITLEMENTS---like food stamps. Just google federal budget and see for yourself.

When the government raises tax rates, revenue decreases. When the government lowers tax rates, revenue increases.

If Obamao's goal was to increase tax revenue, he'd lower taxes everywhere possible. Money would start moving, new businesses would start up, existing businesses would expand, employment would be way up, people would start investing in businesses again, and lo and behold, tax revenue would be pouring in.

Along with this, he should pull back all the absurd environmental regulations that have made manufacturing unaffordable.

But Obamao doesn't want to increase revenue; he wants retribution. He wants to punish the successful, and overload the system with far more 'free' government money than we could ever afford, until the freeloading leeches suck the economy completely dry and the US collapses under its own weight. He's following the Cloward-Piven strategy of bankrupting the US in order to usher in 'social justice' (read: The United Soviet States of America).

Entitlements are far and away the largest expenditures the federal budget has. Nothing even comes close to them in dollar amounts.

Also tax cuts are not "giving" money to anyone. It's just less opportunity for the government to take.

Taxes are not something that any of use should be proud to pay. They should be a last resort. It's somebody ordering you by fiat to give them your money. There is a type of gobvernment that celebrates such things, and if you want that then don't be afraid to call it what it is.

By the way. $1.6 trillion dollars over 10 years is 50 million people paying $3200 a year extra in taxes. Do we have 50 million 1%'ers in this country that can afford an extra $3200 a year in taxes?
