Nitrate Plant explosion & boom Rattles ground In North West Alabama Just now See updates

Apparently & we are 45 minutes away from there & it shook this place very hard! The boom lasted every bit of 5 seconds

Anyone know of this plant's exact location?

COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) – There has been an explosion at the Cherokee Nitrogen Plant in Colbert County.

Cherokee Nitrogen confirms that one person was injured in the explosion.

Emergency crews are on the way to the plant.
