There are 8 Sun Spots showing. There are two of them that are active right now. We ar currently under a geomagnatic storm from an m class flare. More could be in the ofting.

Go to Spaceweather.com for all the details. They even have an Auora map. Put it into your favorites and go see it everyday then maybe just maybe you won't have to wonderor ask whats going on anymore. You would no or is that to difficult to ask or to do. I find it amazing with all the information on the Internet how ignorant some of you are about things like this. Its not a complicated site. Ignorance is not bliss and it beats coming here and ending up getting misinformed by someone who's guessing.

Looks like the aurora has retreated into Canada right now. But it can still have sudden impulse at any time.

As you can see from this chart the bz was way positive. Then turned negative around 21:00.

Spaceweather.com is saying we are flying through a cme that just passed... I don't know. We are not getting HIT with cme. Enlil does not really support that as well. Neutrons are up slightly, so ena ribbon?

But the chart above also shows cosmic ray density dropped sharply.

By the time someone learns everything they see there we'll be in the next solar minimum! Get off your high horse.

In short, we are having a geo magnetic storm. Can cause troubles with electrical system. Power, satellites, earthquakes. You may feel some ringing or buzzing in your head.

Story we are going with for now till the experts wake up and tell us...

The sun shot off several m class flares that kinda rippled together and went past us yesterday. This event looks like we (earth) are flying through that path of charged particles which is inducting into the earths magnetic field.

What does it all mean? Keep your eyes open. Something is happening. The end result may be nothing more that lights in the sky. Just keep your eyes open.
