When they voted for politicians who gave them all these social benifits they actually couldn't afford they, the people, were silent. Now when they realize they made a wrong choice they blame it on the same politicians and Europe while actually they should blame themselves.

Going on strike doesn't solve their problems, they can't suddenly do a 180 turn going back to their old lifestyle they can't afford.

Splitting up the EU would only benifit the north. Not a single country in the south wants this.

So is life in a reptilian extractive capitalist system. Why build things for ourselves when we can feed the bankers instead with endless amount of profit.

There's a core problem: we can't work for each others, we want to make endless amount of "money" out of limited resources, here's the result.

I don't know why people wait for a solution from a government, they won't do anything since they don't want the sheep being self-sustained.

Despite that it's a good sign that people revolt and protest, this is the minimum activity one can do.

I disagree with this as the south has all that it needs.

Sun/OIL/GAS/Gold/Silver food etc etc., they just need to throw out the elites and go back to Democracy not the Feudalistic imperialism that exists today.

Its easy to scapegoat an entire region when only a few elites ran off with most of the profits.

Are they partly to blame yes, but my relatives work for themselves, pay taxes, etc etc so hearing things by northern europeans and casting a blanket on the entire populace is bewildering.
